Wow!, what a keelhauling, anyway back on topic, this thing spun up fast today and it's in the warmest part of the Caribbean so it's gonna f### up some peeps for sure. We just got over Fay last week (Daytona), let's hope this one misses. OP, since your nowhere near a hurricane zone why the obsession with them??.

Actually I am not far from a Hurricane zone again these days but one hasn't hit this area in 100 years.
I grew up around these things, Hurricane Gloria on Long Island in 1985 where the eye came right over my little town and to his day the landscape is still changed. It used to be a tree filled town and it took 3 weeks to put all the telephone poles back for power etc.
Then I lived in Florida for a while and then I lived in New Orleans in 2005.

Or was it when you were trying to claim milk was a certain price in this area when it was in fact MUCH lower?
Or perhaps it was when I corrected you on the location of a refinery you claimed to live near which is in actuality on the opposite side of the state?
Or maybe it was when you said that the new Google datacenter that was being built in Pryor, Oklahoma was being staffed by nothing but cheap labor Google was shipping in from China and I proved it wasn't because I know people who work there.
Still I guess it could have been when you said you lived by the HQ of a major oil company. Then I pointed out that no, the HQ was in Houston, Texas. Which last time I checked was nowhere near Grand Lake, Oklahoma.

I never said anything about labor with The Google, I talked about the cheap electrical power.
I never said that town only 40 minutes from me was the HQ of Conoco, it clearly says it is a R & D center on the building. I would hardly call 40 mins away on the other side of the state when it takes 4 hours to get to Cimarron valley.
