I don't know about the 1Up column but the Yahoo video doesn't give away anything. It is just a look-back at the story of Halo 1.

It looks like I'll watch the Yahoo video then. I was reading something on IGN that gave a bit of backstory and I have no recollection of what they were talking about so I'd like to be up to speed before I watch the game.

I don't think it gave anyway anything, otherwise I wouldn't have posted it. I know you said earlier you didn't even want to read any reviews, so I apologize if you read anything you didn't want to read. Looking back over it now, I guess there is one comment from a Bungie developer that you might be talking about. To anyone else who wants to read it, it just mentions one of the focal points of the story, but doesn't delve into anything.

I agree...as much as I'd like to do some co-op, think I wanna run through the game myself first on Heroic, then get some Legendary co-op going after I finish it. Co-op makes the game a lot easier (imo)

I got halfway through playing Halo 2 SP last night...I totally forgot the vast majority of the campaign. Was fun playing that again.

Funny how great minds think alike. 🙂 Think I finished the first one, and got to the part where the Chief is on the 2nd Halo and just past the bridge part. Ok maybe not halfway through, more like 1/3, but just enough to get my blood pumping for Halo 3 tonight. 🙂

I played all the way through halo 2 last week. Played some online matches last night also. There were some really boring levels in Halo 2 that I struggled to get through but I hung in there.

I hope there are no levels like that in Halo 3

I can tell you the levels are not a lot of "backtracking" in that sense of the word, but you go back to the same location via a different path. Each level has its ups and downs, but the most annoying aspect, is the flood because of the respawing, but thats not even that bad.

Halo3 campaign is no bioshock or half life 2, but its not bad, if that makes any sense

Hmm, guess I was too trigger happy, don't remember whacking people on GS. I remember they were asleep on the corridor levels though.

Regardless, good things though. Sad to see the series end at Halo 3 though 🙁

i thought i messed that up, i prob have that backwards, yea the corridor lvls is what i ment, my braidn fails me at what GS was, i woudl play it now but my brother stole my copy of Halo and Halo 2 so i am halo less till tomorow 🙁
