darnit i wish i had seen this earlier. paid $5 ea. for hl2 and ep1 through anandtech and ebay respectively.

I would also like either game if it were viable for someone to do so. My brother plays this game and honestly I've never played it (only a couple minutes of the original) so I'd be interested.
 
Anyone interested in a trade? I have HL2 and Ep1, and I might give them away too - I have a friend that said he wanted them but he can't be too interested because he hasn't opened a steam account and I keep bugging him to do so, so that I can give them to him. So any way, I'd be interested in like CS:S or maybe some other game but I don't know if this is possible. PM me if interested. If not I might end up giving them away.

Just play your brothers. And I'm not just assuming you live in the same house, as long as you're not both logged in under the same Steam ID playing online then it doesn't matter. You can share Steam ID's, me and my friends do it all the time.

Just download Steam, login as him and play.

The only games you can gift through Steam at this time are HL2 and EP1. It is not possible to gift CS:S
 
Hi, just noticed this thread. If anyone has a copy of HL2 I would like to play. Thank you.

p.s. I am glad to notice there are lots of other people who have never played as well 😛
 
do you need hl2 to play ep 1? if not would anyone have a copy of ep.1? I played HL2 years ago so I just need to move up to the next part. if not no biggie 🙂
