Actually it should be given to whomever I want. My software, my rules. I could have started my own thread, but in the spirit of efficiency I used the one already provided.

That said, my HL2 copy went to tailes151. Episode 1 still available.

episode 1 is now gone. Glad I could help a couple of you out.
 
I gifted a copy of halflife 2 to my friend last night. he got the email and downloaded steam, but when he went to try to click the link to get the game, it gave him a dead page. not sure if it was a 404 page or what.

can he not download it yet or what?

I stopped updating because no one cared and was just randomly giving it to whoever they wanted, my original purpose was to put some order and try and be fair, I may seem like a jerk for wanting people to do first come first serve, but that seemed fair to me. Few other people seemed to agree so I stopped updating the list since no one went by it anyway.

Ok, i got it now. I can gift HL2 to someone. 1st person to send me a PM with their email address will get it. 1st one; not playing favorites or dibs or whatnot.
