2. GT3 had recordings of the real engines put in the game - I read somewhere. What did suck balls was the music... I hope they get decent music this time!

Plus the reason GT doesn't have damage models is because of the licenses for the cars in the game - that's what I read from one of the head honchos of the game, though I can?t remember exactly how that affects the game.

Yes, there is some upconverting to have driving in 1080i. Menus are not.

Damn, MTV hasn't shipped it. I pre-ordered it there about 3 or 4 months ago when it was only $36, nice deal...if they ever ship it 😛

There's going to be a big list of GT4 players on Xlink i have a feeling. I'm looking forward to playing on there, though my expectations are low. Consoles online have only disappointed me in the past.

wow dude, i guess you haven't been paying attention at all to this GT4 thing have you. they scrapped online play a LONG time ago.

EDIT: and i thought XLink Kai was just for xbox, but its also for ps2?

so 480i rendering with upconversion means that the picture will look pretty sh!tty on my 100" screen. damn, why couldn't GT4 be a dual platform release.

Yes. People have been playing imported GT4 on Xlink Kai for the last few months i believe.

Yes, the rep said they aren't suppose to sell it today, but they will let me have it today when they get their shipment around 5pm.

My local shop says they'll have it at 4 but I'll be lucky to make it there by closing (9). Stupid schoool and traffic and weather:| I could use a break and GT4 seems like the perfect thing to do.
