I related it to when I graduated college and left the dorms. When I lived in the dorms (and even when I rented a house and lived off-campus during senior year), I lived right down the hall from my 6 best college friends. Even though I still see them all the time now that we've graduated, it's still sad.

Things like impromptu lunches or bumping into eachother on the way to the coffee house (yes, the local coffee house was our big hangout, until we moved off campus together) are out of the picture. Now we have to make plans to see eachother.

I've got the full version now. 474MB. If someone wants to host, be my guest.

There was a grand finale gang bang, Ross and Joey hooked up and got married in New Hampshire. Chandler and Tom Selleck are now an item. Phoebe jumped off the Cafe with her smelly cat. Rachel and the pregnant chick flew off to Amsterdam to begin their new careers as window hookers.

This is the last season of Drew Carey. The finale should air this summer, but there are rumors that ABC is so detached from the show that they might just buy the episodes and not show them...

ReplayTV cut off right as Ross went to kiss Rachel. Luckily I had padded it by a few minutes since NBC always does this. I'm sure there are a lot of pissed-off PVR owners out there, though.

I thought that was a good final episode. People like closure. They tied up all the loose ends and they did it with signature Friends humor.
I've always thought this was one of the best written and acted sitcoms on TV, and I'm sad to see it go. Not sure which is my favorite now... probably That 70's Show.

If theyre real new yorkers, they dont have cars. :)

Weschester might as well be another planet if you dont have a car.

It's really disappointing too, I used to watch Drew Carey all the time, but it was so hard to follow with it always switching spots, heck at this point I didnt even know the show was being done anymore, I thought it was just old episodes repeated on other channels.

Do you think they will tie the old Friends cast into the Joey show some how? With Cameos and what not?

All Freinds cast members are set to make cameos on "Joey" (sorta the Cheers gang did on "Frasier"). Schwimmer is also set to direct a few episodes of "Joey." He has already directed 8 episodes of Friends.

awesome. I sure hope Joey makes it, and is good, b/c I need something to fill up my thursday evenings before ER and CSI, though I doubt they'll give him such a prime spot right out of the gate. Will "Joey" continue the Friend's storey line I wonder... Will we find out a year into it that say Mike and Phoebe are expecting? (Mike did say he wanted kids in the finale), or will it be a little more disjoint.

There hasnt been a new Drew Carey episode since last summer IIRC, the took the show off air during the 2002/2003 season, and aired the remaing episodes from that season during summer. They did not show any this season. ABC was/is locked into a bad buisness deal, where they HAVE to pay the cast and crew for so many episodes, even if they dont film them. So instead of just wasting money, they decided to use the show as filler during the summer. New episodes will air twice a week, during June, July and August.

"Joey" is set for the Friends time slot. Staying there is yet to be seen.

OK, I'm one of those pissed-off TIVOers right now who had the last couple of minutes cut off. Tivo cut off right after Ross says to Rachel "Unless we take a break". What happened after that??????

Rachel slapped him and flew to Paris. Ross committed suicide and Joey ate his body, then moved to LA.

I'll edit the last 10 minutes out of mine and host it, at least temporarily.

:)

They just looked at each other and hugged. Then they all went back to the apartment when the movers were moving the TV stand out of the apt - it was then completely empty. They all took out their keys and placed it on the counter. They all reminisced about the good memories they had and went down to the coffee shop one last time together.

Then while walking down the stairs the babies jumped out of the stroller and stabbed them all to death.

I set my tv tuner to record the Leno show last night and went to bed. I watched it this morning and it cut off right as Jay was asking for the cool guy handshake! NOOOOO DAMMIT! :(
