Didn't realize this comes out tomorrow - just ordered it from Amazon. $10 off next video game purchase coupon if you order it from there - best deal I could find.

I rarely pay full price for games, but I've been in a slump and with Fable II on backorder from MS, I need something new. Looking forward to it.
 
i preordered for the PC but wonder if i should have picked it up for the xbox? i have a fast pc but enjoy sitting on my couch with my 61" 1080p screen 😀
 
yeah, i don't have to go to work until 6pm tomorrow, so once my CE gets here, i'm gonna be playing the heck out of it until i go to work.

meh, and i'm only around 4% through FC2...damn.
 
I was going to wait on this because I haven't yet beat Deadspace or Fable 2 but I can't help myself. I preordered it yesterday.
 
I am so very scared to walk into Target. I'm going to see this game, and I am going to be physically compelled to buy it. It was hard enough ignoring Fable 2.

Metacritic never translates 1UP's scores properly. Not that I really know how it should be done, but an A rating when the highest possible score is A+ is definitely not a perfect score (100).

Crap, this sucks. I was hoping Fallout 3 would sound good enough, but not good enough for me to get immediately. Between this, Fable 2, LBP, Gears 2, and my recent pickup of NBA2K9, I'm in for a world of hurt. I've got NBA2K9, which I've not had any time to play. I have Fable 2, which I've not been able to put as much time into it as I've wanted. I'm getting LBP today, and will most likely be getting Gears 2 next weekend. Fallout 3 will have to wait, but I don't want to wait on it, I feel like I need to figure out how to squeeze it in to everything else 🙂.

I'm just glad that I'm not interested in buying Resistance 2 or Motorstorm.
 
Haha...I went to Blockbuster to rent Fallout 3 (I must be insane because I'm trying to play Fable 2 right now too). When I checked out, I got these stickers as well for free. Going up in my cube. :laugh:
 
well, i was trying to cram as much FarCry 2 in as possible before FO3 got here. got to like 23% completion and then the UPS truck rolled up, so probably no more FC2 now. gonna go grab my CE edition off the porch and open it up.

My amazon order will be there when I get home today, but i cant decide if I should play it yet or not. I usually play 1 game per console at a time, so fable 2 and fallout 3 then also LBP is a lot at once. But i'm dyin to play it. Hmmmmm.
 
Just grabbed my copy from GS (PS3)..

Not going to dare open it until I finish Fable II though...
 
Just got it today, wasn't planning on it but decided what the heck. Pretty sick so far love the VATS, makes everything look bad ass
 
Ah man, I really want to wait on this game since I have Fable II and soon will have Gears 2, but the temptation is great. I don't think I can wait until December...
 
Just got it earlier today. Man this game rocks! I was playing Fable 2 since i got it from gamefly but im sending it back since i wont be playing fable 2 for awhile. Got the $10 giftcard and the crappy mini guide.

Meh, I disagree. It definitely feels like Oblivion when you're wandering the wastelands searching for places, but there are some fairly deep changes. VATS alone changes the entire feeling of combat. There are a lot more "OMG WTF IS TRYING TO KILL ME AND WHY DOES IT HAVE NUKES?!" moments in Fallout 3 than there were ever were in Oblivion, too.

I am less than impressed with their emulation of DC - my wife and I had a pretty good laugh when we came upon "North Seneca" station's metro map.
 
I disagree with the oblivion remarks...It feels much different.

I have put 2.5 hours of gametime on last night...will probably put in a boatload more tonight 😀

fixed. But I still don't think that is fair. I spent two and a half hours with the game last night and this is such an improvement on Oblivion it isn't funny. Better graphics, better character models, better dialogue, better voice-acting, better combat, and on and on.
