Nope, sorry, the reply was meant to go to the wireless issue. It seems as though things will work great, find my router, then after a random amount of time completely drop out. And it won't pick it back up automatically. I have to go the menu and select my router, then either click connect or ok and close the box then it immediately comes back.

I had WEP first and then i read about WPA-SPK. Turned it on on my DLink 54g and then was able to turn it on my m6805. Everything worked great. Next morning, i turned on the machine and i had no wireless connectivity. Now i simply could not see the option to run the WPA on!! The drop down list with Open, Shared for auth did not have WPA anymore!! I tried doing a bunch of stuff ( reinstall drivers, windows update etc etc) and nothing worked. I gave up, switched back to WEP.
Later tonight, i see the WPA option available again!! This is really weird. btw, the wireless manual for the m6805 says it supports WPA.

I just bought a 6809, and am trying to upgrade it to XP Pro. When I do, it loses the 1200 x 800 display mode. All that's left is 800x600 and 1084x700. When I try to install any video drivers, including the ones on the restore disk, it either tells me to install a VGA driver first, or it can't find a device to install the drivers for. When I check device manager, it doesn't even list the 9600 at all! It DID appear there before I upgraded to XP Pro.
Any ideas on what is going on and how to get the device back under XP Pro so I can install the drivers?

ps. This is a great topic. I've read it all looking for an answer and learned more than I knew I needed to know.
