Doesn't mean she won just yet.
They still have to look at write-in ballots.
If someone spells her name wrong on a write-in, that's an automatic disqualification right there.

If Lisa Murkowski wins, that would mean Alaska is throwing Sarah Palin out the door.

I don't know about that. According to this article, voters just have to show a clear intent of who they want their vote to go towards:

The only standard that Alaskan voting authorities have announced is the ability to determine “voter intent.”

So in the end it looks like the tea party provided some unnecessary help in the house and they cost the (R) a Senate majority.

Connecticut gubernatorial race, both Fox and CNN show Tom Foley (R) leading; Fox has Foley + 8500 with 99% reported. Fox, however, shows Dan Malloy (D) winner. What's the deal?

Some late results coming in this morning -

Republican Rick Scott took the Florida Governor contest, beating out Democratic rival Alex Scott by a margin of less than 70,000 votes of the 5.3 million cast. Scott is the former CEO of the for-profit hospital chain Columbia/HCA.

Tea Party-backed Paul LePage was elected Governor of Maine. The Waterville mayor defeated independent Eliot Cutler and three other candidates to become the first Republican to be elected governor since John McKernan won his second term in 1990.

The Connecticut race will take a while to figure out. Bridgeport and New Haven been slow to announce their results. It will take about a week to certify the ballots. If the final margin is less than 2,000 votes, a recount is mandatory. Look for this one to be decided in the courts.

Bridgeport has returned no ballots but tends heavily Democrat. Assuming Bridgeport can report its votes with enough respectability to pass a moderate smell test, Malloy is expected to win.

Edit: Foley has now conceded.
