What level are you and what difficulty?
 
Put in about 20 minutes or so last night. Don't mind the new UI on the WD (and being able to run fetish army again). Can't say I was overly impressed though. In the 2 rifts I did (in T3 for efficiency) I didn't get a greater rift key or any legendaries. I did, however, run into two goblins next to each other. No gobby portal though.

I might spend a bit more time trying it out, but it just wasn't nearly as fun as I've been having in PoE.
 
So, the greed legendary gem from the greed goblin boss pretty much removed all my gold problems forever. The stacks it was popping on kill on T3 had an average of 50k gold each, and it pops 1 out of every 4 kills to begin with.

The wreath of lightning gem is also pretty amazing. Conflag/Mirrorball may have been nerfed, but now the extra missiles can proc effects, and that lightning one is just awesome.
 
T2+ has an adjusted legendary drop rate, I believe. To encourage higher Torment play and not just sticking in T1 for speed.
 
Finally got into a treasure goblin portal.

Sweet jesus it's like Plants Vs Zombies + My Little Pony + Ted + 80's 8 Bit Sound Track + Heavy on the LSD.

I don't have a single level 70 character and we were playing on Expert Difficulty (myself and 2 others).

Other than being trippy as hell, we honestly didn't get much out of it. I hope it is different at the higher difficulty levels.
 
Although I'm a bit sad that my WD is no longer super duper op, the buffs they did for the other characters are nice. DH is top dog, but easy mode. Just plant turrets and wait.. kinda boring to me. The monk is a ton of fun with sunwuko set and flying dragon right now. the wiz, i'm still not too sure about. Star impact is decent, fb is disabled currently so.. maybe that will be awesome once it's back. Haven't touched Barb or my Crusader yet. I'm trying to get a rama's gift so I can socket my furnace for my jade doctor, then I'll reroll vit to damage.

Guess I'm right back in it again.
 
Ok, to answer the questions. I was early 60's first HC toon while playing the previous nights (first two since 2.1 dropped). Totaled around 7 hours of play, including taking down Urzael and Adria for first time on this toon, got zero legendaries in that time. Playing on hard difficulty setting. Also only a single pair of treasure goblins in that time.

Played last night, got all the way up to Malthael but did not enter fight. Managed to get to level 68, going to wait until 70 until Malthael so hopefully the legendaries will be more useful. Did get two legs in about four hours of play last night and saw three pairs of goblins, of which managed to kill 2. Most frustrating moment yet - chased a goblin right to the exit of the zone - he hid in the "glow" and I couldn't target him to finish, only had like 2% health remaining. GRRRRR!!!!!

Really want to see a goblin portal open. I'm strapped for cash as this is my first play through on HC, barely have half million gold at this point.

On a happier note, not seeing the network lag I did the last several nights, maybe the DDoS is over? Would like to be able to go back to Expert mode for the challenge but scared of losing my toon to lag death.

I share your pain. Was playng on T3 with my WD the other day and chased down a goblin that Haunt caught while I was in the middle of a pack. He hit the portal at under 100K health. :twisted:
 
I just started playing again after getting RoS for $20 this week. How do I join someone else's game? Or how to I get them to join mine? I did it when i first for the original game but cannot figure it out now.
 
I played maybe 2 hrs last night through acts 3 and 4, found 6 pairs of goblins! Plus 1 rainbow goblin which took me to Whimsyshire, lol. Totaled 5 legendaries too. V.unlucky Deni. I am lvl 45 ish and also on hard, don't know if that's a factor.

I think DDOS is over, was zero lag last night.
 
I was noticing a little bit of lag last night, but nothing too outrageous, so they've probably managed to stop most of the DDOS traffic.
 
Does anyone else's profile page show bugged chest icon's?

Only the first character in my profile shows a correct icon/image of the chest piece. All other characters show that weird messed up icon in the image.

Wow, your RNG is much nicer than mine!! 🙁

Of the two legs that dropped, one was a 1-H sword that was nice upgrade for my Templar but useless for me (much much lower damage rolls than my current yellow 2-H) and the other was a useless chest with INT of all things. WTF is up with the rolls these days? I'm finding more useless stuff than I have since I played the opening beta before loot 2.0 came out.

EDIT: Whimsyshire is that bizarre puffy white cloud zone, right? I saw that once in a rift on my WD. Didn't know you could get there normally...

You can get to ponyland anytime. Just have to craft the staff of herding. GL with gettng the gibbering gemstone from that Lacuni in act 3 ice cave.

yeah i didn't know either, i was surprised to see the rainbow goblin. When he died he spawned a rainbow portal.

I think your install is bugged giving you sub-par RNG. Try a reboot 😀

Hopefully RNGesus will swing back in my favor one of these nights. The GF is going out of town to visit family next week so I should have plenty of gaming time. 😀
