Lol, don't let the herpa-derpa community mess with ya. I'm good on my RoRG, so I'm more for getting the exp and keystones. A5 is my favorite for quick exp/cash. I've burned over 40m now on this stupid Andariel's trying to roll CC and keep getting Vitality!

Anyways, if I'm on when you are, I'll help with the achievements or just split farming in general. 🙂
 
So, I've been running my WD using locust swarm as my second DoT and never really saw serious damage from it (couldn't tell difference when mobs had it on or didn't). Last night I tried out spirit barrage (phantasm rune) and WOW what a difference. That puppy was criting for 2M+ which is noticeably higher than my pets or even typically haunt.

Need to find some +cold gear to make the booms even bigger.

Oh, and my first Zuni (ring) dropped last night along with a second Thunderfury. I'm going to have to clean out my bags or create some mules or something.
 
Been grinding my barb on T3 for the elusive RORG. Paragon 210 now. Getting plenty of other crap rings.

Currently wearing 3 pieces of aughilds, 2 of immortal kings and 3 of raekors set. If I get that damn ring it would be awesome, not holding my breath though.

Speaking of Capp, haven't seen her post in the past few days. I wonder if her boyfriend had to shut off the internet to make ends meet after losing all his money on the World Cup. >_<
 
how many shards did you have to gamble before you got a legendary? I'm up to 8000 gambled and I haven't even gotten more than 2 yellows I can even use, for any of my 6 level 70 characters.
 
I usually go between 400-2000 gambled before I get something.

If you're drying out on legendaries, you probably need to switch up your play style: e.g. if you solo a lot, join a public group or focused farming group. I notice playing with different players, in different acts, on different difficulties, seems to trigger a different cog on the rngesus machine and drops follow shortly there after. That's just me and I have no empirical data for it, but it's what I've noticed to be the case.
 
Last weekend I got two Quetz helmets starting with less than 100 shards.

And last night my RNG was unbelievable, I decided to get on for one rift run, joined an open group, picked up four legendaries, one legendary blacksmith plan and one set item in a single rift. One of the legs was a second SoJ with +cold and better +int roll than the one I'd been using.

Very very happy I decided to get on even though it was late!

I'm so pissed that I didn't roll off Attack Speed from my Quetz for a socket. I can't remember now what I did roll off but no need for AS with jade.

The Quetz has Int / Mana Regen / Attack Speed / Random for primaries. You rolled off the Mana Regen then.

I was lucky and got a drop with 5.5% crit for my random. I saw a beta 2.1 Quetz and it does not have Mana Regen and Attack Speed by default.

Being that this ring drops on any difficulty level the best way to get this ring is to just farm normal level bounties for Act 1 over and over again as fast as you can. Doing it on normal increases your farming efficiency rate because the faster you clear the more chances you'll get of legendary drops. It will either it'll drop on its own from a mob or you' get it from collecting a crap load of bounty bags and opening them all up by doing it on normal and blowing through one bounty game into another.

I completely disagree. There's a huge bounty public community. Find a group for a T level that you can do quickly and knock them out. I've opened about 250 caches or so and got my two RRoGs from t1+ caches.

If you can't clear T1 quickly than trust me you don't need the ring for your build yet.

I've gotten my 5 or so RoRG's doing it this way. A1 normal, just burn through the bounties and collect your cache in 5-8 min (faster if you're in a geared group).

Also, I don't think the RoRG drops from mobs. It can only be found in the cache bag from A1.

The issue is not finding a group. The issue is clearing as fast as you can and collecting a shit load of bounty bags in the fastest and most efficient manner as they can and will drop RORG rings.

You are right normal mobs don't drop this ring but the bounty bags do dop it. Which is why so many people farm A1 normal bounties because it is the fastest way to rack up bounty bags in order to get this ring.

I farmed Act 1 on my Crusader for about a week, off and on. No RORG. Switched to my main, a Wizard. Cleared Act 1 exactly ONCE, got a RORG. 🙁

It rolled STR. 😀
 
Got my WD to level 70, made two bounty runs through normal A1, second run through netted my first RRoG. As in, second bounty ever on that character.
