For all you WD players, has anyone used the Homunculus where it summons a zombie dog every 5 seconds? I have been reading that you can now remove summon zombie dogs as an ability and using sacrifice will greatly boost your dps, any truth to this? At work so I can't try it, and I would also have to roll crit onto this thing so I don't want to waste my souls re-rolling if I don't have too since this is an alt.

I have a Homunculus that summons a dog every 4 seconds. Yes, you can remove summon zombie dogs as an ability and use Sacrifice (or anything else) instead. If you use the Sacrifice rune "Provoke the Pack", you get an extra 5% damage per zombie dog sacrificed. I think the buff caps at 5x dogs (25% damage buff), though you can have 6 dogs with the 3 dog passives slotted. Maybe you can sac all 6 dogs for 30%, though I haven't tried.

Edit: It apparently works with all 6 dogs for +30% damage. Might be good for a Jade Harvester build, but I don't think it'd be worth slotting 3 passives just for the extra dogs for a pet build (what I'm currently using due to lack of 5+ JH pieces). I'd have to choose Pierce the Veil OR Fetish Sycophants that way.

It does work yes. I haven't used sacrifice with it yet though.

I am able to run T5 on my Barb and WD with someone that can just stay alive and contribute a little. If anyone cares to try, add me, Adrenaline#1529.

I only 1 item left to get and its the royal ring. I can't even seem to get a legendary to drop from one of my cubes, let alone the one ring.

Just wait until you get it to drop and it gimps your build really badly because the dmg rolls are horrible. I'm tempted on my Wizard to just use 2 pc captain crimsons and 3 pc aughilds to drop the ring for a good one. Feel like I may get more out of that for my WoW build.

All depends on your gear really. For me, I've not yet found a WoW or SoJ of any kind so a Int/ias/chd RoRG is my best ring. It gets me the full set bonuses to the following: Aughild's, Tal's, Vyr's and whenever I manage to craft a decent Born's sword with cool down reduction I'll get that full bonus as well.

For me to consider dropping it I'd need to find a Wand of Woh. If that happened I'd swap in Hexing Pants, Firewalkers, Magefists, keep my Cindercoat, maybe use the Something Strop belt that has a fire explosion on potion pickup (because I don't have Harringtons), Unity + Bul-Katho's that both have 6CC/~50CHD, Triumvirate or Firebird's source, and then decide whether to do 3-piece Aughild's or use an Andarial's helm with fire damage.

TL;DR - Finding Wand of Woh is an instant build changer. 😀

Help. Pulling my hair out. I think I should be doing way more damage than I am. I can cruise through T3, and T4 is OK, but an elite pack will curb stomp me here and there.

Personally, I found the Raekor set to be extremely underwhelming. Once you get EQ set head/shoulders/legs and Lut Socks you should be able to take T5 without issue and good clear speed. T6 will be a little tougher.

For reference I use the set below in group play:

I swap Leap rune to the 100% Stun for solo play. With Unity T5 is a joke and I can clear it about as fast as T4 with SoJ. Going to try out T6 later but working on my wizard and DH in the meantime.

Swap your weapons around.

Then you want to do this:

Get Earth gloves along with Aughild's Shoulders and Bracers. You will stomp T5 like it is normal. Heck, I replaced my Cindercoat with a Goldskin and still stomp T5.

You don't need a Unity for T6.

Yeah kind of overlooked the higher min/max rolls on the mace while just looking at DPS. Thanks for the suggestion.

Does earthquake DoT have a set interval for ticks or is it based on attack speed?

From what I have read it has a set interval, attack speed is useless.

I saw a video posted on the forums for a Barb running T6 with no Unity. It was a build I was thinking about but lacked the Earth shoulders at the time. I tried it and it worked great. It requires three piece Earth set and three pieces of IK along with a RoRG.

I wish there was a viable WW build for T6 that did damage, but WW damage lacks so much.

I've been wanting to get the EQ/CotA build going but the only IK pieces I've been able to find are the head/gloves/weapon.

Starting playing the Monk again. Can easily do T1 now and it isn't so bad. I need a lot more toughness though.

Also, crafted some damn near perfect Reaper Wraps last night (20% physical, dex, vit, 6% crit). Rerolled the physical to 19% fire and threw 'em on the DH.

I'm pretty much set with my WD and DH. DH is just missing RROG, but I have full mara set. I'd like an rrog to use tnt that I have for her, but it's no biggy. Funny thing is both my friends recently, opened up 3 boxes and 2 of them had rrog in them that they don't even need for any toons anymore. I opened about 20 recently, and nada.. not even a leg.

Anyhow, been working on my barb, but Kada has been so stingy and I can't farm higher than t3 with him. However, in one game last night (after playing for close to a week with the barb), I get 2 ik pieces. Still no lut socks, and only one eq piece. Long way to go for barb, but I'm having fun with furious charge from thrown away raekor pieces for now.

Got my crusader to L70 over the weekend by doing RiFs. I found a flail that removes the wrath cost of Blessed Shield, so now I can just spam BS haha. It's kinda fun.

Still need a lot of pieces to be properly geared, but it'll come in time.

CoTA is useless in t5 and t6 they die way too fast.

This is not correct as I can run T6 with mine. They do die sometimes but they crit for over 12 million nonstop. Earthquakes, Ancients and Templar hitting mobs while I run around and use Frenzy. I took on three elite packs at once and killed them all.

I do not use Unity either.

Playing on my Barb and gambling on my WD I have gotten some minor upgrades recently:

IK Chest with low strength but AR so it is an upgrade (I had a crappy one drop in a game, killed the RG and gambled chests pieces to get another one. Loot tables are nice sometimes.)
Cindercoat with low strength but 13% EQ damage along with 18% fire and 25% reduced fire cost

Mask of Jeram with over 700 Int, AR, 6% crit, socket and 95% pet damage. This will go well with my Trifecta Tasker and Theo I got the other day.

I am still trying to gamble a better Quetzacoatl.

I started working on my Crusader as well. I have four pieces of Akkhan, one is the chest but I have an extra Cindercoat already.

They look fun.

I agree, I want to do something like stun-lock thorn damage. Crusader is THE tank so that should be an interesting build for RG farming.

Finally got my taskers and royal ring. My physical dh is pretty dirty now. If I actually had more than 10 minutes to play I could test how easy t6 is.

I want to be able to run higher torments. My wizard can run T1 okay, my barb is a mess (gear wise) and I don't know if I care to try getting proper gear.

I have a HC crusader with about 20 paragon levels. She might be torment ready if I can ever get a better weapon. Or save up for flawless royal gems, currently using imperial. She's sitting at 400K damage and 6M toughness. Currently playing her on Master for exp. and gold. Not much slower than expert.

If it wasn't HC, I'd probably already be in Torment. But since it is, I want to be sure she'll handle it fine. Not necessarily faceroll fine, but not heart attack any time a blue shows up fine.

Maybe I'll find a HC RiF community.

Here's the crusader (and the rest as well), if anyone is bored enough to take a look:

Drop rates are still high, but drops have been really crappy lately it seems. Also, since the popularity of Rift it foward, Kadala seems to be even more stingy than ever. Durring the initial buff I was able to get my Jade and Marauder sets with in a week, tops. I can't buy upgrades for my Barb, Crusader, and Wiz right now.

I started a new game yesterday with a fresh Crusader. Having a damn blast with the class. I love the shield attacks that hit multiple enemies plus the passive that let you use a 2H weapon with one hand.

The class is really fun to play but yeah i'm only level 10 in Act 1 on Hard. I think i'm gonna up to Expert just to have some kind of challenge.
