Also, the # of players playing has really jumped, and stuff I tried selling on the AH previously without luck has gone fairly quickly now.

Last week I bought 2 ~1150 dps 2H bows for 70k and 100k gold on the AH. I realized they were both worse than my 1084 dps bow because they lacked dex, so I turned around and re-posted them. I asked 100k with a buyout of 500k and didn't get any bids.

I re-posted them two days ago and they both sold yesterday as buyouts. One for 850k and one for 750k I think.

I got a 2H with insane stats..

1200 DPS
105% crit damage
1600 Life on Hit
160 Str
160 Dex

Hope it would be of some value.

that would have been insane pre 1.04, now it's just your usual

I personally found a i62 wand that was 970dps, 90int, 80dex, 44% crit, 600loh and +arcane power

If this is possible, the crafting population is going to drive prices down once the market is saturated with stuff like this... I'm sellign off any weapons I find at firesale prices unless it's exceptionally OP

Is every weapon with +XP getting bought up for paragon leveling or is it just uncommon to see an 800 DPS one hander with +XP? I see only like 300-400 DPS

Given the sheer amount of XP necessary to level I doubt anything other than +% XP would be really worth having, even over the long term.

I do hope that weapon prices go down. I bid 55m in a weapon earlier (i hope i get outbid lol), 877 DPS axe 120 STR, 90 VIT, 900 LOH, Open Socket. If i win no biggie since its an upgrade. I'm sure there are better items even level 62 quality down the line.

I disagree, +exp(not the percentage) adds up over time. If you think about it, inferno mobs will always provide the same xp, it doesn't scale to your lvl. A 63 trash mob that gave you 500xp/kill is still going to give you 500xp/kill at plvl 90...

What I'm saying is that if you had +24xp(from a ring for example), 524xp/kill is pretty significant the higher lvls you get. And obviously as you lvl, you are more able to stack more xp items that your stat bonuses from paragon offset. It's all about the time saved. Not to mention NV stack bonus + socketed helm, +24 can easily become effectively +30-35 and you add up the pieces, it might save you a heck of a lot of time.

I always thought xp/kill has always been undervalued because people look at the D3 xp in terms of quality over quantity. I think of it as quantity over quality in that we we usually kill mobs by the clusters and not necessarily fewer mobs with more xp each. It's almost like loh vs lifesteal debate.

Unless there has been a change, lv 60 items didn't have a + xp affix on it unless it also had a "reduced level" affix also.

I was thinking you earned significantly more than 500 xp/kill from Inferno level enemies, but if that's the case than yea, it could be viable. The higher the base XP is though, the less important those static values are going to be.

Use the exp % gem. Spend the gold to make the best one you can.

It def. Helps. And unless you find a lv 58-59 item with xp that isnt horrible in stats, you probably will only get xp boost from the NV and gem slot.

I was just throwing out random numbers, will have to go home to check but the ratio of +xp to actual xp/trash mob felt pretty high/significant.

The best items to have +xp is the rings, you can actually get decently high stats on them with +xp with a small tradeoff.

Found gloves last night; 79 res all, 20% MF, IAS, Crit, and something else.....too bad MF is goign to take a nose dive eventually. Going to try and sell for 5M

Played 30min last night. Gold items were even dropping off non elites at a rate that I found insane.

Found nothing useful (still 0 legendaries or greens for me >.>) but the updated drop rates, and the xp is nice. Halfway to the first level.

Where were you farming and what is your paragon level now?

I spent most of the day yesterday and just found plans for some level 50 set that is essentially useless, my really good Andariel's visage helm, and a whole ton of unsaleable yellows.

I've created a thread on the main forums, but I'm going to ask you guys here as well.

Since updating to 1.04, my mouse will randomly stop responding. It only happens in D3. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing to no avail as well as trying a different mouse. Any ideas?

I'm about 4 squares from paragon lvl 6... Besides the wand I mentioned earlier... I did notice a lot more drops... all were still crap lol

Petty much salvaged and auctioned off the mats as fast as I could get em along with my tomes.

Anyone playing Diablo 3 on Windows 8? Windows 8 seems to be fine for most of the other games I play, but D3 performance seems to really suffer. Any thoughts?

Mostly noticable on my FX-8120 Radeon 7970 system. Playing with maxed out settings was fine in Windows 7, but drops to single digit fps when lots of enemies are visible in 8. Playing with nearly everything set to low and it's mostly fine, 70+ fps and dipping to the 30-40 in big fights, but there is still an annoying stutter and I shouldn't have to reduce my settings given my system specs. Using the 12.8 catalyst drivers.

I'm at pLvl 12 and currently farming act 3. I'm at work now and can't wait to test my luck again today. I got 3 legendaries (1 sucked) and 2 sets.

Try changing the hardware class in the preferences ini to 1. It helped my FPS issues a lot! Act 3 is playable but my q6600 starts to show its age with multiple enemies on screen.

HD 7850 is my gfx card.
