How's this bot work? Is it a much better player than real people? Does the bot knows and buys or finds and equips the best equipment out there?

I don't know how it works. I imagine it just takes your class with certain skills and simulates clicks. His really only runs to a certain area to break pots and pick up the gold. Something like 38 seconds per run (with log in / out). He says you can use it to farm other areas, but if you don't have good gear, it won't work in Inferno.


I am still farming that awful Brony level. I have gotten a few good drops am about to recoup my investment (made the staff and upgraded to Inferno all at once).

Anyone holding off on their AH purchases for high end gear? Blizzard mentioned that they plan to buff legendary gear in the next patch. There are some decent ones now but I don't feel like paying millions for them if better alternatives are on the way.

I only hit level 31 on my monk the other day but I've though about buying some lv60 stuff in advance (like cheap 5k 500dps weapons and what not). Good/bad idea?

The older legendaries will remain the same though. Which kills all the excitement I had when i found a few of them.

Actually, the ones I've found were both low level that were decent for my noob characters.

My friend purchased the bot and another D3 account. Using two accounts at level 60, he says he is making like 450k an hour. He's already sold $200 worth of gold in 2 days.

So, it is worth it. I may just get another account and grab this bot then run it 24/7.

He is farming an area in Act 1 Inferno I believe. However, this area has no mobs. Just outfit your characters with Gold Find gear and you will find a lot. If you have the gear, it can (according to him) farm stuff like the first boss of Act 4.

DMG: 4k (this seems rather low, my friend was somewhat amazed that I got through all of Hell with it that low
Res: 200's

So did I miss something somewhere or have I just been horribly unlucky at finding good weapons? I haven't used the AH at all, was trying to avoid buying anything.

I thought in D3 gold find only effects gold dropped by mobs and does not effect chests and other breakables. Is this not correct? Has anyone tested?

Use the AH, you need the DPS increase big time.

Don't fret it, when you get to 60, 5k is nothing. I wouldn't plan ahead and spend millions on the top end 1k+dps weapons though.

haha Yea, and I actually have a higher DPS than ~4 of my friends who are almost done with hell as well. I just haven't gotten anything to drop for me. The highest DPS wep I have even seen is like 440.

I thought the patch isn't retroactive with older legendaries?

actually IM amazed you got through hell with 4k DPS, shit without using magic wep im over 4k and im only lvl 55 and have NO AH gear on the wiz (main hand is under 400 DPS as well), pretty sure i sit at like 8k with magic wep using a 1 hander + offhand from drops
found a staff yesterday that i can use next lvl that will boost DPS by nearly 2k

my DH is 55 and is just shy of 11k with sharp shooter, monk is around 6k @59 - i see crap for monk gear.

Pretty sure he means buy the old legendary items that will ultimately drop in price as a result of being inferior to the new legendary items.

Yeah... I'm on act 4 Hell and with force weapon on I have 12k dps.

The random loot bug has been bad for me lately. For awhile most of my rares were a pri stat + vit + other effects. Lately I've been getting stuff with all pri stats + vit + one other stat. While not bad for say a barb to have some dex with him for defense, the int isn't helping.

get to around 15% crit if you can minimum, with a lot of +crit damage.

I think Attack speed on gloves/rings is a must. Other than that, just the usual, int/vit/all resist

+ attack speed crit and a 1000 DPS wep get your DPS that high, also most are most likely using magic wep + force

the neck i have on my DH has like +38% to crit damage, the DPS boost from that is nuts. also has near 300 life on kill

It's not a bad idea to start finding good dps cheap weapons.. sometimes they're hard to come by.

I've been lucky enough to have some high level friends hook me up with a few good things they've been farming.

Why bother with legendary gear.. They aren't worth you gold and carry really poor stats. I buy them for re-sale if the price is good enough to make a 100k gold, otherwise they are just not worth it. Some of them have a very unique stats with attack speed that might be worth stacking.

Yeah, for 1m gold that's about current. If you want to make real money off it you'll need to do that. Otherwise, just start farming it for when RMAH hits and buy up items to try and sell for RM.

That gold bot sounds great though.... Tempted to buy another account and farm with it. Decent investment though... 2m IGG+leveling another accnt to 60+gear for that character
