The keys are linked to a Bnet account, to share they would have to give you the password to their account.

I assume you received an e-mail if you get into the beta via opt-in, right? 😛

Since Blizzard is in the middle of sending out a wave of beta invites, keep in mind that you can already download the client from here while waiting for your key. (link is safe, I already installed the game)

This way you can jump right into the beta once you get the key instead of waiting to download 2.4 GBs.

not at all, truthfully I don't really care about this beta, I want to see it to confirm that it is going to suck, that's about the extent of it.

D1 > D2 > D3 is my guess. and I didn't care for D2 other than the first playthrough.

while its internet connection dependent it only took me about 25 min to DL the entier thing this morning

yea they send you an email with instructions and all that, however i didnt click any of the links out of it, i simply went to my bnet accnt to check and D3 Beta was listed under games

looks horrible. it's a beta.

remember sc1's first beta? it looked horrible, a war2 copycat.

if enough people say that another game looks better in gameplay than D3, blizzard will scrap their crap and make it look less trashy.

I noticed that I still have the 20 min gameplay video of D3 back from 08 on my drive. I just watched it, and damn, the game looks completely different now. The Barbarian had mana back then, lol.

I also have the Wizard trailer, and it looks like ass. Kinda looks as if it were taken inside WoW's engine.

This must be because I don't play WoW. I have every other damn blizzard game I could tied to my account.

This must be because I don't play WoW. I have every other damn blizzard game I could tied to my account.

I have four WoW accounts on 2 Battle.Net accounts (3 + 1), and I've never received a closed beta invitation unless I used a code (from BlizzCon) to receive it. The only time I can ever seem to get in is during the open beta phase. For example, that's when I got into the vanilla WoW beta.

Wish I hadn't attached both sets of my D2+LOD keys to the same account. I end up with only 1 download key, and only 1 shot at getting in these betas! Eh...they keep saying they're not going to release anything past the skeleton king in beta anyways, and if they're several more months of this coming, I guess there's no hurry.

But it's hard to get myself to believe that it wouldn't be the coolest thing in the world to start playing today.

That was more of a pre-alpha than a beta, and yea after they tried showing it off and people laughed they went back and made it was it is today : )
