As a wizard I do:

Int X value
All resist OR Vit Y value
Then whatever other stat I want.

Then I search... quite often I can find great things cheap, if I look hard and long enough.

For 1 million yesterday, I bought 3 items of upgrades giving me, 4k more dps, 3k more hp, 50+ more resists (and 40% m0re fire resist) and 11% more magic find

It all depends on where you started from.

Gloves and boots are the cheapest items, then I think helms next. It's when you need to squeeze more stats out of the other items, it starts getting crazy expensive.

i search all res = 50, secondary res = 40, dex/vit = higher than whatever piece i am trying to replace. i always find something... whether or not i'll pay the asking price is a different story.

Yeah. I am a lightning monk.

Currently I've been trying to pump my DPS up..which has been suprisingly hard.. Right now I'm trying not to spend on arm in a leg to replace my Gloves with something that has +9% IAS...

Currently they are like 155 dex, 50 Lightning Resist +62 All resist +27 crit damage..It would be perfect if I could get some IAS...

I find really good helms to be very expensive. Probably 2nd to chest pieces. The prices skyrocket when the item has that critical stat unique to it. For helms it's a socket, for boots, it's movement speed, and for gloves, it's IAS/crit chance.

200 stat/200 vit boots ... 50k... 200stat/200vit 10%Movspeed ... 500k... 200stat/200vit 10% movspeed 10% MF... 5 mill

its something like that lol

I wish I could get 200 dex / 200 vit boots with 10 movement speed for 500k
 
Something else I'm just discovering, people pay a LOT for 25% gold find items. It is apparently the highest an item can roll, so people pay a lot for it. Kinda ridiculous IMO. Just an FYI to you all.

I'm a lightning monk too.. though I'm level 56. Have like 300ish resist right now. Still going through Hell..
 
So I finally got my first legendary drop yesterday... and my second... and my third... yes all in the same day(Innas Glory, Andariels Visage, and some lvl 60 xbow). I was the last in my circle to get a legendary, everyone got theirs at least a month ago, it was starting to become a running joke that I'm bad luck. And just out of the blue, I get all 3 within a 3 hour span after a month and half. So random.

Together,the'll rake in about 1m or under. I don't care really, I just wanted to finally get it. 😛
 
I dont really understand how the HC scam worked...someone joined his game and then clicked on the banner to teleport to him? I would think you would know better than to do that with a HC character. I guess some of them were killed right away because he pulled mobs into the town apparently though...but still, I dont know if I would join a random game ever on my HC character.
 
I'VE ******* HAD IT WITH THIS ******* ************* GAME.. I've got lag around 110ms tonight, doing butcher runs. All of a sudden my character starts skipping and jumping all over the goddamn screen. I've died 7 times so far this run, after dying twice total in 3 I did last night. Then to make matters worse the elite pack that killed me 3 ******* times, I finally kill them, and what's this? No ******** ************* **** **** Neph bonus. So all for nothing, with 30k in repairs. My ******** ******* life is stressful enough without these ******** retarded pieces of **** at blizzard essentially stealing 60 dollars from me with their ******* half assed crock of **** game.

server acting a but fubared tonight. seems real laggy but server ping showing better than normal while fps is stuck reading 0.
 
OK, So I tried an experiment, since I had an auction still going. Someone outbid me; I increased my max bid...only it told me bid failed. Just like the other 5 times, except this time someone outbid me. So if someone outbids me in AH I can't top their bid, even if I have ample gold. How is this fair? Please tell me how these cunts at blizzard think this is even vaguely ok for me to spend 60 dollars on this wise and beautiful woman belch abortion of a game and I can't even compete for gear.
