Any tips for the best way to isolate and find out?
Temps aren't a problem as I had predicted, still idles about 25C and loads up to about 33-35.

Big pain, though, the two Leadtek 6800GT I ordered will NOT fit because of the depth of the Leadtek HSF <sigh>. Grateful to know what other 6800GTs will fit. I'm thinking about Arctic coolers but the one pic I have seen doesn't look like there will be enough clearance with those either.

My UT NF4 SLI-D arrived late Thursday. Yes, the Zalman CN7700 Cu does fit. You have to install RAM in Slot 4 before fitting the heatsink.

CheesePoofs, you are an interesting type of person. There is 40mm space centre to centre between the two x16 slots and the Leadtek HSF is 45mm deep across the outside faces - it protrudes about 5mm from the back of the card. I was surprised, but the second card would not even engage in the slot. There may be space if the plastic shroud is removed, the copper seems to be 38mm across outside faces. However that doesn't leave much for airflow.
Thanks Tabb, someone point me to how to post pics and I'll put some up.

I'm currenty building this board up on a fairly low budget. Wanted to share that I just got ram for it from Newegg as part of their Crackhead Deals
I mention it here because this ram is specifically mentioned on the DFI site as one of their
recommended ram. Cost me $151 shipped.

Man i've been working on my rig since friday night and just now i finally got a stable and constant windows install going.
My rig DID NOT like Sp2 at all. Well, the nforce drivers didn't. I don't know why but running SP2 on this has been suicide, something goes wrong anytime i try. I'm gonna stick to SP1.
*phew* what a tough weekend. One thing after another went wrong.. I've never had problems like these with intel computers, it's always AMD ones that do it. :/

For those who wonder, the onboard sound on the DFI is pretty sweet. Compared to my SB Live, I'd take the onboard one. It just sounds clearer to me. Not to mention the controls are very nice and easy to use/access.
