I did get a 310 last word form an engram which I fed to my Hung Jury to get it to 308

I can't imagine how to be honest. Even with supercell, arc rockets, arc sniper(I used solar for captains) it was ridiculous. We both had storm caller on and spammed grenades too.

I don't know what we were doing wrong that made it seem so difficult. Suffice it to say I have no desire to do it again for my other character. No sir

As for raid drops yesterday in my singular run. 300 ghost when I have a 302, another pair of gauntlets(my 4th) and I am wearing a 310 already, a 306 rocket launcher that upgraded my old one from 300 and I infused the old one to sleeper to bring it to 300, and a warlock bond that was lower than that I had been using. Oryx decided my 20 shards were worth a pair of 310 claws of ahmkara when I had received 3 of them already from engrams before. So that was worth one shard

self rez helped, it was a bitch on my hunter
I use an arc fusion and solar rockets, solar rockets killed the cptns nearly outright, and fusion nades would as well swapped to arc HMG for the end

lot of running and hiding on the boss, you can pillar hump one of the round columns on the far side until the last phase without much worry, also there is a safe spot for the final phase

There is just no reason for Nightfall anymore. We got strange coins. I get those all the time.

How about a +1 gear item drop? Something you can apply to one piece of gear to raise the light level.

I got a 310 4th horsemen from 1 of the 2 I did so, not bad this week. previous were all strange or 3 of coins

This kind of shit drop rate is what made me leave back in April. Did up to daughters in raid (bad group too who couldn't follow directions most of the time) and got nothing but shards the whole way. I ended up leaving after 45 minutes trying to teach people with another dude what to do on that encounter. Someone always said "he got the relic" and jumped off before he got the final jump and I even asked people to stay there until the jumper says to move. Yet someone always jumps off early and screws the guy trying to make the jump to the deathsinger. After what seemed like 30 or so wipes and only killing the first one when I was the jumper (easily cause we had 4 ToM but apparently people didn't practice jumping enough lol), I decided to call it quits. I actually had to basically yell at everyone to stand on the platform like a statue until I tell you to get off, not one second before. The other guy who was trying to explain things sent me a PSN message that he wished he didn't join this group because clearly they weren't experienced like they said they were (we also wiped 6 times on Golgoroth because of people dying stupidly) but feels bad to just leave the group when they're close. He also said he asked for an experienced group for a quick run as I did, going on 2 hours and still not downed daughters is not an experienced group. I don't mind people learning but when you do the same thing over and over that causes a wipe every time and when called out on it do it again anyway, I get aggravated. It's one thing to learn what to do, it's another thing to say you know what to do and clearly don't and keep making the same mistake repeatedly. I'd rather someone be straight and say they don't know how it's supposed to go and take 5 minutes to clearly explain each phase than try to bungle through it.

Those drop rates though...my god they suck.

Started doing IB last night and actually had a decent amount of fun in there! I generally shy away from anything crucible, but this has worked out ok for me. Granted the loot drops don't seem very good right now, but it's giving me XP/motes/random guns to dismantle (really running low on weapon parts).

Black spindle quest though looks interesting! I have a feeling I won't be able to solo this though so probably need to start teaming up.

Lol use swords to clear stuff fast, especially the boss. That's what the guy on my team did when we won. Then I cleaned up some adds with storm caller whenever I could.

its possible it doesn't need to be the daily heroic. Just select the mission and choose the harder difficulty? Saw a video that showed it, just haven't tested it myself.

Isn't that the same thing though? I've toggled that on a couple missions and it looks like it adds in the 'heroic' icon.

That only works on the day it rotates to the daily. The reason it works today is it will toggle the daily heroic on. If you try it tomorrow it won't work. There was a discussion about it last time on another forum and when someone tried the next day it didn't work.

Well I got that done, it took 4 tries but at least it's over with lol. Exotic swords went a long way for us.

We did it the usual way. Me and Rage187 on adds + boss when nothing around. Cmdrdredd on the boss. We finished it with 30s remaining And the sniper is sweet :-D

yea with the sword nuke method we killed him with over 2 min left and then just mopped up the adds that were left

See the first couple of times we ran out of time with 3 adds, 2 adds then 1 add left it hurt my soul each time.

When we beat it we had about a minute left, we all mauled the boss then stuck together taking out the taken balls then the adds. The other two guys already had it but they were helping me out.

It was actually kind of fun but I feel like 300 attack would be a fair number for the effort.

Took my fireteam 3 attempts, but this was our first time doing the black spindle boss.

Was really fun, almost like a Skolas fight back in the day. I was left standing when I killed the boss with about 30 seconds left. Then my team came back up and we finished the rest of the mobs. They used swords and I used a zhalo (don't have sword yet).

I like the BS, same as BH but w/ higher dmg. Too bad it's 290 and that it's an exotic. Cant' use both Zhalo and BS.

Oh man, the Supercell was awesome in that fight (got a 310 version). I ran with it (arc shields + chaining stuff) + Oryx shotty (was wasting solar shields, knights were dropping like flies) and a void rocket launcher. All elements covered and lots and lots of damage
