I use the spindle situationally. Mine is 310 and I do about 67-68k per hit to golgoroth with no buffs.

It is also good against tanks and strike bosses. Sometimes I substitute my 310 1000 yard stare and use sleeper simulant. Depends what my goal is.

Wondering if I should purchase that sniper from Xur. Anyone have much luck getting it to drop regularly in missions?

Yeah but I don't have that yet and it may be awhile before it shows up again, so I was contemplating getting this to fill the void for a bit. I don't mind playing for it though.
 
if you have coins to burn and no other exotic weps you wanna use sure, but TBH the vendor one (1000 yard stare) is better
 
Hereafter sounds cool and has increased zoom when crouched but I haven't even used it since I got it from an engram and tried it a bit.

Yup! I currently just have to kill the 3 champions. Still it can be tiresome waiting on them to spawn, and if you aren't lucky to have someone around to help it's really hard to take them down. I've tried on a few occasions and either die or the timer runs out before I can get it done. :|

do you have a gallyhorn? because it will let you solo them, because they are all on low level planets it still doe full damage and a shit tone of it
 
I throw the grenades that stay and pulse at his feet before we jump down. Clears them out and usually get his attention long enough for the gazer to grab it.
 
Lol they did it on purpose to keep people from hitting the cap. They have to keep people playing somehow and there isn't enough high level loot as it is. At least not after 3oC farming and getting almost every exotic. So it doesn't surprise me that they are upping the cap more so we have to fight double RNG again. RNG to get a drop and RNG for the light level.
