They say it's RNG, but sometimes it feels like devs just wanna grieve us.

Not to mention, normal Crota this week gave me helm for the 3rd time and my 2nd boots. Still no arms that I want.

RNGesus never smiles upon me as well. It is infuriating that in all the hours I put into D3, if it wasn't for the AH, I'd have crap gear. But, then they removed that!
 
I got boots twice and every other part once except a helmet. I need the helmet. I got hunger of Crota twice but no other weapons. Sucks
 
Can't wait to try out HM this weekend. I just realized that Titan's have that striker ability to regen health on a melee kill. Should be very useful in this fight.

or use Suros or Red Death. That's what me asked non Gally users to use. Oh, and blessings of light on titan shield.

I don't have Suros unfortunately. I do have Red Death but it's the 300 version and it's not upgraded yet. I'll have to stick with being a striker titan for the transfusion perk. Plus flashbangs are very useful as well.

Or, just don't be a scrub and take damage? There should be very little damaging you in the Crota encounter.
 
Damn, I guess everybody out there is a scrub then. Plenty of people took damage in any stream I watched yesterday, and they all had something to regen with, whether it was a weapon/armor perk or a class ability.
 
Lol. But, Bungie loves us! Why would the put something actually useful on Xur the week hardmode comes out? It just wouldn't be an achievement if you hadn't been preparing for the unknown mechanics being added!
 
Question about Xur and the upgrade items. If you buy an "upgrade item" from him (obviously you must already have the item to purchase it) what exactly gets upgraded? It looks as though the damage is still the same.
 
Got good drops from Crota NRML yesterday for my 2 characters, titan chest I needed, Gjallahorn and Icebreaker (which I just bought). Warlock got Hunger of Crota and Dragon's breath. I suppose best to upgrade Ghorn than the other ones?

Upgrade both. WHen you use Ice Breaker you can't use Horn but you can use Hunger.
 
yeah. excluding the crux, I have everything I want out of Crota including another set of 32 armor for my other warlock. From what I read, HoW DLC will make use of the 32 armor for the first iteration of the new raid.
 
Just got the autorifle from the bridge, but couldn't complete Crota so called it a night. I'm happy to get that at least 🙂
 
Am I reading this right? This week's nightfall is omnigul with all element burn but no angry or light switch?? The weekly is solar burn and again no angry or light switch? That seems awfully nice of bungie...
