Or you can have a Titan pop a bubble at a platform and they will simply shoot at the bubble and ignore the guy running sword. I have also seen someone run to the rocks and shoot at a wall and they attack the wall. In my last run we didn't do any of this and didn't shoot at them because the hunter used invis off a thrall so the boomers never knew he was there.
 
Was a pretty good weekend, got a double fate bringer drop from the Templar in VOG hard and Fang of Ir yut from Crota hard. Only thing left is that Gallahorn.

I still never got a fatebringer but now that I have fang of ir yut I don't see it being that useful for me any longer.

yeah i have a word and epilogue and really cant see myself using either except for burns

Edit: thanks Comcast for deciding that all service in my city should go down right before I pop the archon priest out. Fantastic

RNGesus smiled upon me. Jumped on today to find a group running HM crota and were at Crota with one open spot. This was my first time doing HM crota. Took about 5 tries and 45 min later, I get word of crota! Sweet! Just in time for this week's weekly heroic.

Now if only I could get Gjallarhorn, Hawkmoon, black hammer, and Fang of Ir-Yut, I'll be set.
 
I'm trying to get started in Destiny and trying to find a good primer on how the game's systems work and so forth. Any suggestions or recommendations on where a great place (or write up) would be for this?

I thought the same thing after I got Praedyths time piece until I started using this fate bringer. Easily, the best primary in the game. Now I know why people want it so bad.

Well fang of ir yut scout rifle is arc damage as well, has longer range, caps at 331atk, and fires faster. Really no contest to me and firefly is really only good against weak enemies IMO. If I was going to use a hand cannon I would use my hawkmoon at 331atk(I have two of these now which is stupid but another topic). So if I got a fatebringer it would be worthless in my arsenal now. If I got it before Croats's end or when I did not have an arc primary I would use it. Now I don't need it.

King of like the vex mythoclast. I just got it but seeing as it caps lower than 331 and there is a solar auto rifle that drops from crota's end and won't take an exotic slot, I probably won't use it much.

So I have been playing Destiny for about 2 weeks and got a 31 hunter. I have yet to complete a raid, anyone get together here to do it? I am on ps4
 
This proves Bungie has no clue how to balance weapons. If you want balance then you don't nerf the already second worst weapon type in PvE intending to make it "effective at intended ranges". Bungie needs to stop messing with how people use weapons and just let people shoot stuff how they want. So what if I can shoot a hand cannon from scout rifle ranges and make some kills. A skilled shooter in real life can hit targets at 50yards and more with no effort using a pistol. Why is this so hard for Bungie to understand? Reduce the amount of damage it does at range, not the range it can hit stuff at.

Basically they are nerfing damage and range AGAIN for the Auto Rifle, nerfing the Hand Cannon range, buffing pulse rifles a bit. So now Auto Rifles become the worst weapon choice without question. See the problem is Bungie looks at what weapons people use more and they nerf them and buff the ones nobody uses. There's a reason people use Suros Regime over any of the garbage ARs available now. They just don't get the fact that people don't want to spray 70 bullets in a second and hit for 30dmg. They use the higher impact weapons because high ROF options absolutely suck. Yet Bungie gives us 331atk ARs that pretty much have zero impact and expect us to use them. Screw that

That is almost an exact copy of what he sold last week and the previous weeks. I don't remember exactly but that seems like the same armor all over again. That is just stupid. Bungie should realize that if people aren't buying it last week and the week before that, they don't want it so stop offering it.
 
I'm out. I can't believe they are holding up House of Wolves until May. I'm maxed already on 3 characters, what do I do for the next 3 months?
