So, after you do the raid, nightfall, and weekly, what is left to do for the week? I suppose I could try and get carried through hardmode, but unlikely someone wants a 28.

That being said, if you need public events, the public events app is pretty damn helpful. I hate that bounty too but the app makes it pretty simple. Its not something I'd want to use farm marks though. Tiger strikes all the way.

The app wasn't accurate anymore after the game got updated, unless they fixed it now.

Unless you get a weapon to level, or do the daily heroic story and want to cap marks for the week from bounties and strike playlists, there is really nothing heh.
 
GS has a QA of the expansion with a dev and run through of the PS4 exclusive strike:

The strike is just the black garden backwards with a bunch of enemies. When asked if the Vault of Glass will stay relevant and if they will do things to keep people playing the old content, the dev said that people will continue to play it because its fun... Haha, yeah people will want to play the content they farmed for the last 2 months because its fun.

Nobody should have thought that after the game released that they would get anymore significant content. Bungie has shown that they are satisfied with having us run the same amount of extremely small content over and over. The reason why I take breaks from this game.

The app was working fine for me as of last night, as far as being accurate. I did only do 3 though to finish the bounty.

That's what I feared. I've been doing the daily hoping to get shards, but only energies so far... I have on shard and almost 40 energy. Wtf Bungie... I also have some points left for Bad Juju in the PVP.
 
The destiny public event website definitely gets an update each time the game is patched. It usually takes a couple days for them to get enough data to be accurate with times though.
 
I'm on my third character and with all the drops for my 2 other characters, I have a full set of legendary armor for the hunter. Just need to get an exotic chest from Xur and I'm set to up to level 29...I think. Then its several raids to hopefully get raid armor. Thing is though, I've just gotten a set of raid boots and lots of weapons. RNG at its best!
 
Ugh, I am terrible at PVP. =( It seems like everyone I run into has a rocket launcher. Oh well, I will hopefully be done with the Juju pvp part Tuesday so I can get the new version.
 
For what I had to go through to get the thorn, they should've given me a gjallahorn or ice breaker. Can't believe I still don't have any of those. This game is just like Diablo, lol. Of course, I know someone that got a Gjallahorn after their first nightfall. Yep, just like Diablo.
 
I took tomorrow and Wednesday off. Mostly because I have to burn some days before the end of the year but partly to check out the DLC.

Heh, with Diablo I at least had a chance to use the market to get good gear. I am stuck forever alone when it comes to good drops and RNGesus on Destiny. =(

Oh, and when is the DLC coming out? Like, can I turn in my exotic bounty after what time or is the server going down for before this releases?

I guess it's out now. I guess if venders have the new stuff and the new missions are available to play. There should be an update though.

Apparently nobody can do the weekly or nightfall without the dlc cause they picked the new strike. Also the strike doesn't unlock until you do all of eris' missions.

I happened to get my cryptarch up this morning...got 2 blue gun engrams and 2 purple helm engrams which turned into a titan helm that goes to light 33 (effectively making the raid helm i was wearing useless at least for now lol) and a warlock helm that also goes to light 33.

on the bright side that saved m 120 marks per character and the other armor pieces cost 75 each at the vendor.

I also finished the story missions with my titan and got that fusion rifle that can swith between arc and solar damage but had to work and didn't have time to test it. I did the first story mission at 28 but the only options for the other were 26 or 30 and I didn't have enough time or energy to try and do it at level 29.

Going to head home for lunch and turn in my bounties (5x 5000 xp and an exotic weapon). I don't have enough marks to buy a new piece of armor yet, but I certainly will be doing that first chance I get. These level 27 light pieces are just bad.

At least, I can get a VoG run this week and hopefully hit at least 29 and get a hardmode before I buy the expansion.
 
Yeah at this point 27 light just won't cut it if you plan on doing the new raid at any point or really even nightfall/weekly will be rough since they went up to level 30 as well.

I haven't decided if I am getting it or not yet. I am stuck at 28 (literally cannot get shard to upgrade... always stupid energy) and if it isn't easier to get to 31, I won't bother.
