I had a nice flow of legendarys yesterday for the first time. Vision of confluence, Dr Nope, and an Arc fusion rifle after I purchased the Suros from Xur. Will be leveling the Suros and Vision for sure. Hoping next week that RNGesus gives me the raid boots 🙂 Need 48 more shards to finish out a raid set.
 
Just finished the Nightfall at lvl 27 with other lvl 28 and 26 mates.
Took 2 tries under 1hr. Crap legendary weapon, 1 mote of light. Radiant light glowing on my head.
 
Now that I'm lvl 27 I seem to be getting better drops in less than a week than I've ever gotten. I've been 27 since last Wednesday and I've gotten three legendary weapon drops and an exotic bounty. The drops have literally all been from low level enemies too on earth.

Ehh it just shows how retarded they made the drops. Zero reason to try and kill high level enemies since there is no difference in the kinds of drops you get. It's the reason why farm caves on Earth and no where else became so prevalent.

Confluence is prob my fav wep at this point, its a beast, SUROS is a close 2nd, once fully upgraded both are great

and both are currently better than the Mythoclast even when fully upgraded. Hell even shadow price, the multy tool and hard light are better primary weps, Id wager that if you are good with them the good Hand cannons are also better

the nerf to it killed it in PVE, it doesn't do enough damage and it does not have enough bullets. it has 3 reloads, VOC has 10 and has more damage output and is easier to controll

Confluence is nice. Especially the solar damage for those wiz's. I'm currently upgrading it. Suros is good to. What's the best rocket launcher and LMG?

I was lucky and got mine from an engram roll so it has void damage, plus the stability and reload perks make it insane. Really puts down a ridiculous amount of crit damage due to the stability. I feel a little guilty about it since its a legendary and I still get to equip an exotic primary.

yea mine rolled solar, and yes its a beast
ill prob buy another one with a diff element just to have it for stuff. it IMO is safer vs a RL due to the fact that you cant blow yourself up with it. FU titan bubbles
 
I have an Arc Deviant Gravity-A MG with an extended clip upgrade (60 bullets) - got it from an engram. That thing rips everything to pieces like crazy. The Nightfall this week was unfair to everything 😛 It has a sick starting stability (it's the slowest firing MG) and with the 60 clip mag, I can kill several yellow enemies even with shields before needing a reload. One-two bullets tops for everything else. I always get a grin when firing it :awe:

I've seen that before but thanks for the link. I do wonder if they add new exotics in the expansion if they will roll them into xur's possible items. Not everyone would have the expansion so it wouldn't be fair. On another forum we speculated that the exotic weapons would never be put on xur if they weren't accessible by everyone.
 
Supposedly raid quality items with the new iron banner that I think is opening tomorrow.

I need 5 shards to hit 29, and then just need raid boots. Dying to get a good heavy too I'm using a blue still.

The gear is only available in two slots though. Nobody knows what slots that might be. All side grades for most people at this point. I just need boots to get to 30. I've maxed everything else except a few special and heavy weapons. My second warlock is almost 20 so I can swap gear and double up on loot chances. Really though you can do every event at lv29 and be fine. Level 30 gets a few points bonus over a lv29 but there's very few areas that it makes a big difference on. Raid on Hard is one event where lv30 helps a lot. I suppose if you like PvP then the new iron banner is another. So to me lv30 is just a number I'm aiming for because I want it. Not really trying to cap levels because I have to like in some other RPG games.
