Yeah that gun is like cheating lol. It is a fusion rifle that has the range and accuracy of a scout rifle and is so fast it may as well be an auto rifle. I do hope Bungie does something about it for normal crucible. In iron banner I expect things like this, in the supposedly normalized PvP mode I would like a bit of adjustment. Some of the guys who got hit with it went down in like 3 shots. It ate through sunsinger shields in two I think it was. Just crazy. Amazing for PvE though.

Eh, just black list it for PvP. It's a POSSIBLE reward for completing the raid on hard difficulty. Not exactly an easily attained gun. Honestly if you beat the raid on hard you deserve SOMETHING special. I do agree it breaks PvP though.

I still don't understand why people hate Dinklage as the Ghost. He is a fucking AI. He is supposed to be monotone. Get over it already...

People are still bitching? Lol. Not his fault the lines are pretty bad... I don't mind him at all.
That's precisely the reason, the lines are bad, the story line is just horrible and nonexistent. It'd be fine if the lines he spoke and the story was fine but it's not.

Then, perhaps, people should complain about the story, not Dinklage's delivery of said bad lines. My only problem was that his voice is rather distinct and I couldn't help but hear him as Tyrion. I thought it was fine, otherwise.

I've noticed a few times where PvP was really bad, and not just because I suck at it. I've been slaughtered a few times where I felt like I should have stood a much better chance. Nothing like unloading on someone and hitting them to only do a bit of damage and then get whacked with full shield in three to four hits

I've had some instances where I was kind of dumbfounded as to why I died, but then again, I've had instances where I fired a single hand cannon shot at a guy with full health and scored a kill. Kind of a wtf moment.

I wish they would hurry up with new maps. I am not a huge fan of them (and one I particularly hate), but there aren't enough IMO. Give me more Bungie! And more Strikes!

Didn't search the forums for this already, but was Destiny offline for you guys last night? Read something about a ddos attack. Are the servers back online??

In news completely unrelated to Destiny, Edmonton has some rather strange sister cities:
  • Gatineau, Quebec
    Harbin, China
    Nashville, Tennessee
    Wonju, South Korea

Wtf?

Even stranger unrelated question would be why you are wikipediaing Edmonton AB? lol.

Some people said they couldn't get online and PSN wasn't handling friend requests properly. Probably related issues. Maybe DDos attacks again.

Yeah - Wasn't a huge deal except that my wife went to bed early so I had the entire night to start finding epic gear and I couldn't log in. Spent the night setting up/organizing my iphone 6 instead. =\

I was curious as to where it was, how big it was, and facts about it.

Ahh - All very legitimate reasons to wiki a city! Most people couldn't be bothered.

Well I can tell you that if we had like 10 months of golf per year instead of only 5 months, I would consider this THE best place to live in Canada. (open for argument of course).

Also I need friends to party up in Destiny. Can I add you on XBL?

Can we try to schedule some weekly raid or pvp times that are somewhat consistent?

I wouldn't mind. I don't do pvp though. I'm available between 4PM and ~11PM eastern on weekdays excluding friday and anytime during the day on weekends, sometimes at night but that is up in the air.

Patch is tomorrow.

For those looking for blue fusion rifles, you can use the destiny companion app and see what the weaponsmith has. Beats logging in.

Well, starting tomorrow I'm going to take a small break. Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and Forza Horizon 2 both release and I want to put some time into Middle Earth this week. I'll play enough to cap my vanguard marks for the week, and get my reward for a gold tier public event each day. If someone wants to do something else or would like me to help with something I can always hop on, just let me know.

I'll second this. PVP just feels...broken to me.

Then again, my view on destiny is that it needed to be in development quite a bit longer...because of both bugs, and the terrible story.

I need to check out mordor. Didn't even realize it was coming out and I haven't even been home to game lately since I've been dealing with a horrible breakup. I finally did get to level 22 at least.

Reviews are pretty good for it. I'm looking forward to the nemesis system, people are saying that this system is going to set the standard for action games. The game tracks your encounters and enemies will hunt you, getting more powerful with each encounter with the same enemy.

One review I glanced over compared Shadow of Mordor to Assassin's Creed and called it the most perfect Assassin's Creed game that could be created lol.

Anyway Destiny grinding will take a back seat for a bit. It's a game I can always come back to. I have put in considerable hours and am at the point where progression is slowed significantly.

If Destiny is anything like other MMO's I've played, you can take a break and wait for new content as the new common gear quickly gets better than the best we have today.

Yeah but I am still hunting for materials to upgrade my gear and need marks to buy a weapon with arc damage. This next update that adjusts the loot pool should help me with both.
