You just picked it up and are level 25 already? How did you level up so fast in 1 day? 😕

Well, I got PS4 for Christmas but didn't start playing until the 28th or 29th due to the PSN outage.

Legendary weapons require Ascendent ENERGY, except for Crota Raid weapons which require Radiant energy.

Ascendent Shards are for legendary armor pieces.

You can get Ascendent Shards from running your daily, for doing public events, for doing the VoG raid, nightfall, and other random stuff. Your best bet is doing the VoG Raid.

It's a 6 man raid. We've done it on normal with 4 fully geared level 31's, but it wasn't fun.

We can use this and I will help you get all the chests before tonight's reset. That should get you a few pieces of raid gear.

I am currently at Level 27 with 10% off level 28. I have been trying to get Vanguard gear to level up by doing strikes and other things.

Also, what you can do to get more Ascendent Shards is to buy or breakdown other legendary armor gear that you don't use. When I was leveling up from 26-28, I had to do that a couple times. I had plenty of Vanguard marks that I wasn't going to really use so just bought some gear from them (65 marks per piece) and just broke them down. You get like 2-3 shards per piece.

Talarus on Mars. No burn for NF. Guess I am skipping NF this week.

Also I couldn't solo the CE bridge section because I can't seem to put the first ogre down quick enough. From what I read the totem will appear if you take too long and whatever I tried I either died or wasn't fast enough. Oh well.

Yeah, I Gjallahorn him. I bet any 331 heavy weapon would make quick work of him.

Yeah I like it so far. Will replace my hezen vengeance. It's about half way leveled up currently and I got as far with my boots as I could with my 13 shards I had which brings it to 2 upgrades from max.
