Yeah and anyone who had the opportunity should have tried the beta. Then they would know what they are getting(or not getting). I personally played about 12 hours solo in the beta and never felt bored or anything. I was mostly glimmer and cryptarch farming. It has for as long as I can remember, been advertised as a shared world shooter with a cooperative focus.

The guy at work who didnt buy destiny didnt really wanna buy my second copy of the game that came with my console for $40 so i just traded it in at GameStop and put it toward my sunset overdrive xb1 bundle pre-order. They gave me $43.50 for it. Not bad IMO.

Oh and question, are you locked into your subclass? Meaning if you want to try Sunsinger on warlock at lv15 are you locked into sunsinger or can you go back to voidwalker for times when you want those abilities?

Nope you can change your subclass at any point. Even in a fire fight if you want. But all your ability cooldowns reset.

Game stop gave me a coupon for $40 credit if I want to trade in Destiny by October 8th. But of course I won't. Finally installing now.

That's nice to know, thanks. Means I can max one subclass then work on another but switch to the one I maxed out if I want to.

That's not too bad. Nice looking armor too. I am almost level 4 lol, but I'm sure it'll go a lot faster once I can do explore because if I remember right, going to explore and going vanguard bounties and the side missions and turning in the spinmetal and such really boosted your xp gain.

I couldnt keep up with the level requirement of the story without doing some exploring and side quests.
 
I died a lot more in this one than the beta lol. Especially on the second or third mission. Finally got to level four and now I can do some patrol missions. Still have yet to explore the vanguard stuff too. Where do I get the weapons that came with the vanguard armory pre order code ? I didn't see that armory anywhere. Is it still in the hanger?

The armory is the robot in the hangar. The playstation exclusive gear is all tied to the exclusive strike. They are all possible rewards from it and aren't given to you nor are you able to buy them.

Did the same thing, working on lv6 now. I decided that I wanted to level more before diving into the story full speed. I'll do it but I'm going to try to stay a level ahead until I get to the higher levels anyway.
 
I'm more interested in finding better gear too. Also, in old Russia, I went into that one small cave by the cosmodrome tower and there is a guy with ??? Above his head. I wonder if their levels will be reveled once you max out.

It's MUCH easier to do the missions when you are on level, or 1 level above recommended level. I was just rushing through all the story missions and did a few of them 1 or 2 levels too low, and while they aren't impossible, they are much more difficult.

Remember that from the beta lol...I did the level 4 one at level 2 and man...that last wave with the two servators...

Yeah there are some enemies that check as ??? but are level 11 when you get to a higher level.

Same with a mob on Venus later, they appear as ??? until level 18 or 19 but they are level 20.

When I first went through I was taking out a mob at the first section of a bridge, hopped over the 2nd section and suddenly ??? staring me in the face... "fuck" was about all i had time to say before I was slapped down. Think I might have been level 10 at the time.

I noticed that too. Only got two so far from a mission.

Some of the beacon missions piss me off. Traveling all the way to one area to get killed over and over again because I forgot the knights are there lol.

I got three during explore, but I was farming xp and spinmetal while waiting for a public event so I can get the reward for the day.

Also I just gained an entire level (8 > 9) by turning in 3 vanguard bounties, and 50 spinmetal. I was barely into 8. Also the vanguard armorer doesn't sell a scout rifle for me. That sucks. Supposed to reset at level 10 and give lv10 items for sale though. Maybe luck...
