80x80? Are you freaking kidding? 100x100 is small and there's more than enough room with the rest of the garbage packed into the left-hand ID pane to warrant more than 80x80. Since AT won't be hosting the avatars, I don't see the problem with normal size avatars. It's not like AT's bandwidth is going to suffer or something.

This is what I want for an avatar, I made it expressly to use on AT:

Okay, I'm digging the custom avatars. Really, it's a good idea.

But why do the mods get to have a bigger avatar? oldsmoboat's flag is mos def not 80x80.

I think Nik's proposal is fair. 100x100 is not going to cramp up the left side of the screen. I don't know how it's going to affect bandwidth, but I hope it will at least get some consideration from the higher ups.

And I thought the uploaded avatar feature affects everyone globally, unless it was permissioned to affect them differently on their usergroup level.
