That was the stupidest movie review ever. What does "official" and "confirmed" has to do with your opinion?

I just got back from the show as well...and I personally think it rocked. It's fvcking T3, what else are you expecting? At least in the Matrix you were waiting for the storyline to progress and yadda yadda, but with such a strong foundation from T1 and T2, T3 didn't have much more to say other than a few explanations. The action scenes were phenomenal (sp?) and just pure eye-candy.

Yeah, there's nit-picking to be done (did they really have to stand and stare so much? I guess they did), but I thought that that movie was one of the best action movies I've seen in a while...probably best all year (not sure what else I've seen tho, there are so many).

My suggestion is to go see it.

Oh yeah...I was wondering if they'd explain how he gets his scar on his face, but I guess that's in the 4th one ;)

T3 rocked.

'nuff said.

There we go. :D

I mean honestly, what kinda f*ckin' idiot bitches, "Oh you could see the pixels when he was highlighted against the moon". Shut up and go back to whacking off to internet porn, you dork.

The objective of a movie is to entertain . . . I was entertained, more than the cost of my 7.50 admission. In fact, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that T3 is the best popcorn flick of the summer - light years better than Reloaded, superior to X2, and better than Hulk.

There were a few scenes in M2 that were clearly CG (Superman, fighting Agent Smiths). Sorry some of us look for more in a movie besides shallow action and numbing entertainment. I'm not expecting some great masterpiece, but the Matrix 2 had nothing on the original. The original Matrix had great special effects, but they were a means to an end, not the end product itself. Same thing with T2, the visuals (while amazing and entertaining to watch) were put there to tell a story. There was so much useless action in M2 that I was beginning to feel my eyelids becoming heavy. I'm not saying action/explosions are bad, but it seems the Matrix series has gone the way of xXx (useless eyecandy for filler, subpar storyline, sex scenes just because well...sex sells!). I haven't seen T3 yet, but I'm going to go in with an open mind.

I think you missed my point entirely. I classify movies into two types of movies - popcorn, and steak. Steak flicks would be, oh, Shawshank Redemption, Schindler's List, etc. Popcorn movies should be obvious; my whole perspective is to go in and have fun. It's not high art, I don't expect it to be high art. I expect to be entertained. Griping about CG just seems lame to me. Did you gripe about how phony Forest Gump was with the insertion of Hanks into historical video? It was somewhat on the goofy side, but it worked.

I saw the sneak preview today. To be honest, I was quite impressed. I was only marginally excited about seeing T3 and I got much more than I expected. Arnold still has it, to be sure, and man, that Kristanna Loken is REALLY FRICKING HOT. I'll be placing my order for 2 units when Skynet starts shipping.

All in all, it was 2 hours of crap getting blown up with a rather acceptable story thrown in. Left WIDE WIDE WIDE open for T4. Not that I would complain. Yes, some lines were reused but I felt they were done with tact and at appropriate moments. Very, very entertaining. I haven't had that much "fun" at a movie for a while. No thinking, no analyzing, just "BOOM!!" "OOOOH!"

I'll leave the "most disappointing sequel" to Matrix 2 (once the initial Cool Factor wears off it becomes a 2.5 action movie that has 2 hours too much talking) and the "most disappointing franchise" to Hulk (decent but very blhahhhhhhhha)

I'm glad there are some positive opinions about it. I thought it would suck. But I think I might just give it a shot now. And it's true tho with sequels....you can't go in with too many expectations.

T3 was awesome. Anyone who comes here and pisses on the franchise doesn't deserve to enter a movie theatre.

Oh, and I agree that the "**OFFICIAL & CONFIRMED**" title is utter crap. As if a puny review of T3 written by a nobody holds any merit. Sorry for the flame but I just hate people who expect the World on a silver platter when they watch a movie.

I saw the movie tonight too, honestly it was far from being as revolutionary as T2. But it was still a fun movie to watch, the terminator chick was hot, a lot of it was parody of the previous two films, decent movie all together. I give it 3.5/5, which is pretty good in my book.

I saw T3 last night, started secondary thread (got locked) then tried to flash my GF2mx card I got yesterday to Mac.

I think the 3rd movie lacks the "feel" of the first 2. Blame the CG being used to create the action, as apposed to it reinforcing the action, as Ebert put in his review which is a very good intrepretation of the whole movie (Review Here).

I still liked the movie and am glad to have closure to the whole Terminator/judgement day story.

One question though... At the end, it is noted that Skynet is all software based, running on computers in dorms, in peoples homes and businesses. Wouldn't have skynet blown itself up when it nuked all the cities?
