ask the rest of the country what they think when you say "carolina."

Most would think Michael Jordan. after several seconds of struggling, I can't think of a worthwhile icon, image, individual to come out of that South Carolina university.

come to think of it....I could say the same for the real Carolina 😀 (lot of famous names, though)
