WF has been sucking it up the last month, right? Has Vandy played as well as they started?

(I haven't been watching much college football these days--most games are over before I wake up :()

vandy has gone down hill toward the end, should be a good game.

great game.

damn, NCSU game sounds decent, too. I just couldn't drag myself out of bed at 8am to drive 20 miles on the freeway to watch it 2 weeks in a row. Even a tasty Bloody Mary isn't enough to entice me.
:(

duke up 7-0 on carolina :D

niiiiiiice.

Woot! NC State winnars! possible bowl? personally, I think 6-6 is lame, but closing out at 4-0 against mostly ranked opponents is a big deal.

Is Russell Wilson the salve for our post-Rivers malaise?

i'll just say that i'm glad we played yall at the beginning of the year instead of now. we'd lose now.

yeah, seems like many teams on opposite trajectories. I still hate our defense. Really hard to watch those slow bastards after a few years of the Williams-led crew recruited by Amato.

That's what I'll be pulling for all day :p

too bad penn state couldn't just beat a crappy Iowa team.

Crappy = 8-4 with four losses by a combined 12 points to three ranked teams?

The Illini loss was bad but otherwise I'd say Iowa checks out pretty well.

Odd definition of crappy.

probably. not sure if that's the right call or not, but he has turned things around a bit and he probably deserves a chance.

I dont know its a 13 point game with over a quarter to play. Oregon State can stop Oregon and score a TD they have all the momentum and could come back.

Statement retracted. WTF is with all the 70+ yard passes in this game?

wasn't that a fumble by OSU and OU recovered?

The refs called it down and not a fumble. Before up stairs could send in the signal to stop the play OSU got the ball off and had a 1st down.

How about the ACC now? We got a lot of flak early in the year, and now are the top conference in the Sagarin rankings.

We don't have the couple of heavy hitters to compete with the top dogs in the SEC or Big 12, true, but from top to bottom (okay, except Duke) the ACC can play with and beat the rest of any conference. (and has done so)

Notre Dame just got their first 1st down conversion and it's the end of the 3rd quarter. Ouch

Nope. Its still a conversion. Texas had a defensive 2pt conversion against Texas Tech IIRC.

Notre Dame is stupid. Wies buyout is way to high. I'm sure the alumni will easily raise it though.
