I have seen a couple of "deals" out there, where if you buy certain items or do certain things, companies will donate money for the fight against breast cancer.
Being that Oct. is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I thought it would be a good idea to have a nice neat thread we can post these deals in, so everyone in the Deals community can help with the fight!!
So here goes!
1. New Balance Web Express.com is donating $10 on behalf of the customers name for any "Pink Ribbon" shoe purchased through the end of Oct. The donations are to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Direct from the site: "Lace Up for the Cure
For every pair of pink ribbon shoes you purchase, New Balance and New Balance Web Express will donate a total of $10.00 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation on your behalf. That's a $10.00 donation on your behalf to help in the fight to eradicate breast cancer. Offer valid until October 31, 2002."
2. (stolen from shibz11689 at FW) Take a short quiz (7 questions) and $1 will be donated to the American Cancer Society or Susan G. Komen Foundation.

4. Yahoo.com has a big listing of business you can buy from that that will donate a portion of your purchase to the fight against breast cancer. Here is the official scoop:
"In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, when you purchase any of these featured name-brand products (while supplies last), a portion of the proceeds goes to charity. Shop now and support the battle against breast cancer."
