I don't have an interest in either team, but I would much rather Ohio State win it to shut up the LSU fans who think the SEC is the only conference in existence. Being in TX, I am just tired of constantly being subjected to it.
There are other conferences? :Q
Another reason for Ohio State to win...shuts up SEC elitists. I'm an Auburn grad and love my Tigers but the attitude of most SEC fans annoys the hell out of me.
BTW, I meant to mention this earlier. This year (assuming the score holds up) and last pretty much show that an undefeated SEC team should be in the championship game. As an Auburn fan you should be more for the SEC proving this every year than anyone else considering what happened to you all a few years ago.

how is it SEC Elitism?
is there any question that the SEC is clearly the best conference in the NCAA year in and year out.

And the ACC with the #1 basketball (although Big East can argue). A lot of talent in the southeast region of the US.

Uh no it's the Pac-10, there's no arguments there.
One can even make an argument that the Pac-10 is the best in football too, when you have a team at the very bottom capable of beating what some consider the best team in college football (including Vegas oddsmkaers), you know top to bottom you have a very solid conference.

Year in & Year out, it's usually the ACC as the best basketball conference in basketball, there's no argument there. This year the Pac 10 is much better than usual but the ACC is right there. As for football, Pac 10 is a one team conference (USC).

really?
Only the Pac Ten has had every member win or share a conference championship
in the last 15 years. The Big Ten is second with 8.
The Big East and the Big 12 (1996) each have 7.
The ACC and the SEC have 6 apiece.
1 team conference ?
