undoubtedly the most famous scene by far
I know you gotta cut some slack to the anime makers for limited time of 21 minutes per episode, but the archer vs lancer battle was completely lacking the immersive nature it had in the original. Oh well, its just another not-so-brilliant game to anime conversion so far

So what is it? Just a filler? I just finished watching and I was wondering if this is how the manga went... seems like a lot of comic relief than normal.
Yeah, seems to be a filler arc. Rumors say that Kubo Tite has a hand in it though, so hopefully it won't be as woeful as the Naruto filler.
The current manga arc is certainly not just a bunch of comic relief.

Hasn't naruto been filler for like 5 months?
the anime is catching up to the manga too fast; is probably the reason for the bleach fillers.
