as many other manga-conversions do, Berserk pales in comparison to the original. in fact i wouldnt recommend the anime if you havnt read the manga, manga is waaaay better for what berskerk is imo.

oh well spring break just started for me, and here is my chance to catch up on all series i have been lagging behind :) just watched mahoraba10 and this show seems to be getting better with each episode :)

hehe ya. I always thought it was one of those generic, upbeat, attempting-to-be-cute, fanservicing, anime...

the stuff from eps 19-24 is quite a surprise heh. but ya, man, i'd hate to be Mai.

can someone explain wth is going on with air? all of sudden it went to ancient times?

What exactly is the plot behind Air? I watched about 15 minutes of the first episode and it seemed pretty dull.

my latest anime achievement: on sunday i watched all 26 eps of samurai 7. it was entertaining; better than many anime but still alright. seemed like it was too much fighting, not enough of a developed plot.

having not played the original game, my information could be wrong at certain points. afaik, the bigger theme is parent-offspring relationship. 'the girl in the sky' refers to Kanna, and yukito's character is the one that keeps on reincarnating through centuries. the whole thing will start making much more sense to you after you finish episode 11.

Mo0o, perhaps the show really isnt your type. i thought it was full of drama and many people must be thinking the same way; it was ONE, AIR and Kanon that put Key/Visual Arts on the map, with Clannad continuing their enormous success. The only hands-on experience I have with their games is Kanon and it was the best I have tried.
