Jinki : extend started out as a potentially promising show, but aside from great character design there were so many things to dislike about the anime series : too many cliches, confusing storytelling, seemingly rushed and weak ending. i dont usually pay much attention to action scenes in animes, but it must be noted some of the battles in the last episode were rather pathetic. but let me say this again, character design was top notch. my favorite was Rui (voiced by Tamura Yukari) bar none
AIR was relatively well recieved by fandom of the original game. everyone seems to acknowedge how gorgeous the visuals were. Unlike in many other game->anime conversions, they managed to refrain from mutating the drawing from the original. i wont say much about the last episode to avoid spoilers, but let me just say you may need some kleenex to watch it throughoverall it was another quality show in my book.
