Grr. could've been an exciting finish.

We didn't need a HR. We just needed to extended the inning for more at bats .

A's have got to get back on top of their defensive play.

Poor defensive plays the 1st two games have costed them. With the way the tigers are hitting every mistake hurts.
 
Yay Tigers! You're the only Detroit team I can cheer for. The Sabres play the Red Wings Friday and the Bills play the Lions Sunday.

I think and i hope, that we (detroit area) can celebrate responisbly as we have with the wings, and pistons in the past few years.
 
Game 3 in about 5 hours. Windchills were in the 20's this morning

Right now(11:30EST) in the part of Detroit that contains the stadium it's 40°F and feels Like
29°F

Gametime says 47F with a chance of showers and windchills in the upper 30s


Gonna be good times 😀
 
And I'll be downtown tomorrow night! I'll be working about 6 blocks away and I should get out sometime around the 7th inning. If detroit winning it's gonna be par-tay time and i'll be right in the middle of it!

please. the detroit area has celebrated so many sports championships, the Superbowl was in Detroit, the MLB all star game, and a Jim Rome tour stop (which he's said was possibly the best he's ever done).....yet people bring up tired old stereotypes. give it up already.

let's just keep this thread about baseball 🙂

i'm almost pissed that the Tigers are close to a sweep because i have Game 5 tickets!!
 
Bondermans on the mound today. He was drafted by the A's. A's gave up on him and then traded him to us. Hes done pretty good against them overall so it will probably be over tonight
 
Game is tied at 3 in the 9th. Tigers coming up in the bottom of the 9th. They score..they go to the world series.
