The actor, who was born in 1947, had no idea his father was a Nazi until 1984, when he contacted the Wiesenthal Centre for information regarding his father?s war record."

A Kid cannot be held responsible for what his father has done.

Heh. Yes, I know that was quite "low", that wasn't my point in posting it (since I have no vested interest in Californian politics). Rather, I thought it would be a neat harbinger of the future mud-slingin' campaign that is for sure to come. I found that on a GOP-favoring right-leaning site anyways.

At any rate, any criticisms I'd have of Arnie (if I was to have any) would be on the basis of his profession, intellect, etc.

How in the heck do you guys know that Arnold is just a great actor and a bodybuilder? Did you know that Arnold has been studying and has been interested in politics for something like 15 years? And you go say he has "no political knowledge". I'm pretty sure he has some knowledge. However if you are talking about Larry Flynt or that adult film star Mary Carey, then you are probably right, but they dont stand a chance anyway.

I have been interested politics every since I was 5 (both of my parents were very political), yet that does not make me a good politician. The fact is, he is a Viennese weight lifter turned action movie star - and while I am certainly not a huge fan of career politicians, nothing has convinced me that Arnold as the answer to California's problems.

He's already lying. :p

Reporter: Will you make public your last 5 tax returns?

Arnie: I can't hear you.
