Is it me, or is this year's auditions a LOT more sob stories/back stories, and a lot less of just...auditions? I think there's maybe 4 or 5 real auditions where the person is introduced, they sing, they're reviewed, they leave, in the entire 1 hour program. I dislike this.
Wow, that guy singing Straight Up unplugged was really good.
That was good. Probably the most memorable performance, along with what's her name that sang last with "You Make Me Feel(Like a Natural Woman.)" Seriously, gutsy to sing that song because it was one of Kelly's signature songs from her season.
Ellen was allright as a judge. I'll wait until the top 12 when we can hear more from her.
