Oh brother. You're stretching now.Legal, but, it's not a Guy-- it's an employee of the stadium. It's not professional, and imo, it's not ethical. Perhaps it was spur-of-the-moment and not intended to offend--but-- the end result is that it was wrong. Still he shouldn't have been assaulted over it. The right thing for the Yankee's to do would have been to complain to the stadium mgmt and have the employee escorted out. (Mgmt would probably fire him after).
Have you ever worked a sporting event before?
The fact of the matter is that this man was physically assaulted for taunting the opposition. If you can't take the heat pathetic Yankee pitchers, get out of the kitchen. Maybe "Full" Nelson and "I Bat Like I just smoked one up and listened to Jerry" Garcia took it to heart when fans were heckling them with their shtty ERA and AVG. It happens in every stadium, it doesn't give u a free pass to use violence on the people who pay your salary.
I feel sorry for their families, worst of all. Can you imagine what your son/daughter would think when they hear daddy got arrested for beating up a fan? :brokenheart:
