marking thread for when i get a DX11 video card, bought 3dmark11 today via upgrade from vantage for $5 off. not sure which card i am getting yet though :hmm:

Any HTPC users having issues with the benchmark?

I've gotten a few errors that I believe are due to resolution quirks. One of my errors was relating to window lost focus and it noted resolution change in the error notes. Other errors I hit are perhpas related to non standard DPI setting as well.

The few tests I saw looked good but really chugged on my rig.

Seems a little low? I get p2616 with my 5750.

yes I thought so, but the physics scores from my cpu is like 1847. So I think this new benchmark somewhat factors in the cpu performance a lot which dragged mine down. What's your graphics score on hd5750? I think that might be more pure GPU comparison.

Keep getting that error after 4th test. Basically, 3dm11 is loosing focus and thinks its being minimized or some other window exists on top of it. Always happens in the transition from the 4th test to the 5th test.

I have dual monitors on my mothership rig, wonder if anyone else is having the same error, perhaps for the same reasons...

the 4 tests that run, run flawlessly.

I keep getting .NET Framework v4.0.30319 error. All my games work and I reinstalled .NET and videodrivers and 3dMark11 twice. I can't get it to work :hmm:

Is there a page that shows the top rankings? The search results don't separate multiple entries from the same person/system.

I get this error as well sometimes after the 4th test as well.

I have to then run 3dmark 11 again until it manages to complete and displays a score.

I don't have dual monitors though.

I got busy the last couple nights. Will do the test tomorrow.

Does it work with Crossfire/Trifire Setups?

I wonder why my gamer will score.

I saw something similar posted here: http://www.overclock.net/benchmarking-software-discussion/883750-3dmark11-basic-edition-trouble.html

I haven't seen solutions... yet.

I get the same error, amongst a few, when I'm at that point in the test.

I haven't bothered looking to far into a resolution because my games work fine. Though I'd think the bug comes from my 1080P monitor using custom DPI settings and then dropping to 720P for the bench.
