Glad to see the only place I'm losing to the highly-clocked i7's is in the physics department. Maybe I'm not as CPU limited as I thought.

Seems like 3dmark11 really likes i7's

People running stock i7's with one 5970 getting better scores?

I even saw somebody with a 980x and a 5850 get within 500 points of my score

Not sure I'm crazy over the results I've seen so far

P -mode tests at 1280x , that is definitely subject to cpu speed.
Imo, the probably should have moved P- to 1650x900, so the score shifts a little more towards gpu, for the , free test, which most will compare.
I thought the test looked rather bland, and read they used a 'film grain' filter, think that was the term. Heard they might pull that look ? Don't know if thats easily possible.

loving the speed of the benchmark reminds me of 3dmark2001

WOW impressive #'s, from the 5970x crossfire X
Hey do you have a link, to a list with the TOP scores ?
I could not easily find them, found a Nvidia sponsored page, where there is a list for best score/value rating.
Your score , must be up there with some of the best.

P7339 with Gamer #1 in Sig. Replaced my 5970 with two 6950's and score went up by 1500 pts.

Talk about a processor bottleneck. Thats only 400 points more then my single overclocked 6870

Then means that the 3DMark11 CPU score influences it heavily, because in real life in games, that HD 6870 in CF should be faster than my single HD 6970.
