I don't think he's a very good liar at all.
He's the kind of liar that good doctors are trained to be. They tell you that you have cancer but don't worry, chemotherapy has a great chance of success and then they inject poison in your veins and you fight for your life. For what? A few more miserable years? Doctors have no cure for cancer yet people trust them. Same way people are trusting Trump, knowing full well that he has no cure but his "chemotherapy" has a great chance of success!

You have a very poor understanding of medicine. Having worked in the oncology space, doctors are very aware of the stakes when someone presents with different types of cancers, and they're going to be honest with the patients and their families. Cancer is also not just a single disease - it's like hundreds of different diseases that have similar characteristics, but different underlying causes. Some respond really well to some therapies, and some don't have many therapies at all. But advances have been made, with cancer deaths in the US falling by almost 1/3 in the last 30 years, largely driven by advances in therapies. Also, you may not realize it, but dying from cancer can be quite painful. As debilitating as traditional chemotherapies can be, they can actually alleviate pain, in addition to extending life. And there are other therapies that are available for many types of cancers that are not so generally toxic.

And I don't think many people believe Trump at all. And if they do, well, maybe they should invest in my new get rich quick meme coin.

I'm watching gold stocks tomorrow.
I used to trade NUGT back in the day. Haven't since 2020 though. It's just a day trading ETF. If you look at the long term trend, it's just like SQQQ....perpetually headed to zero with constant reverse splits...so it's not buy and hold.

The good thing is that I can buy the exact same amount of shares in index funds four my fourth child's savings account as my other three, even with a little discount.

Obviously it would have been nice if the older sisters were a little ahead as I bought theirs four years ago....

Robin Hood is 39 billion. This was 12 billion when I bought it, this morning!

Sold another $22k of my highest cost basis VTI at market open to pay part of my 2024 tax bill. Normally I’d pay entirely from my cash pile but I’d rather hold onto that right now

Hmm that's smart.. maybe I should do that next year with some shares.. even if I'm incurring a lost but that might help out with taxes since I'm always having to add cash to my tax bill since SALT was removed.

Gold keeps hitting new highs. 😱

@Artorias Did you buy gold?

Well that's not surprising and it's not gold per say.

It's MAGA destroying America and the American dollar as a reserve.

So it becomes a question of what do you trust?? Bitcoin that's based on nothing or Gold that has a track record.

Many indicators that we're going down. Not sure there's much to done to prevent it maybe just lessen the fall or shorten it.
