Badging the first examples of a new car as special launch editions has become common practice, especially when there's a certain amount of hype involved. Toyota did it with the new Supra, Jeep did it with the Gladiator pickup truck, and Ford offered the same thing with a limited run of First Editions of the new Mustang Mach-E. Now, just six weeks after its reveal, the order books for the 2021 Ford Mach-E First Edition are full. Ford declined to say how many First Editions were going to be made, but it did share some interesting stats on the pre-orders.

The Mach-E isn't Ford's first attempt at an EV, but it's no doubt the Blue Oval's biggest attempt to take a chunk of Tesla's market share so far.

Reserving a First Edition required a $500 deposit, and apparently enough people did it to sell out Ford's allocation of that special model. A vast majority of the reservations were specified with the Extended Range Battery. That means buyers will get 270 to 300 miles of range, depending on whether they opt for all-wheel drive or not.

Every 2021 Ford Mustang electric sold out!

You might be stuck with that SAGE for a while but I'm pretty sure it'll be fine.

Pared down to 50 shares of SAGE at $72. If it goes down to $68, Ill dump the rest.

Dumped ACHV at cost - it has no revenue streams and limited cash all while undergoing phase 3 trials.

....also I added more ADXS. My first purchase was at .85, then it fell down to .55. I should have bought more at that range, but waited until it started trending back up at .75. Current price is .86. People are betting on positive results in Q120 so accumulation is taking place until then. Hopefully it pops its ugly head over $1.50, but I really want $5 sometime next year.

;)

I probably would have held a little longer but that's just a gut feeling.

Speaking of gut - I bought some GE yesterday. Everyone is saying they'll turn it around in 2020. Hopefully they're right; it was a total gut purchase. I didn't really do anything research.

Santa Claus rally, dude. Gotta make those year end hedge fund target goals in order to get those big year end bonuses!

Pretty simple stuff if you ask me....

1) Trump vs. China trade war has died down in "OMG WERE ALL GONNA DIE!" News. Phase 1 of a trade deal is supposedly ironed out. Maybe?
2) Earnings and sales numbers for the holidays (which is hands down the most consumer driver part of any year) looks to be meeting/exceeding expectations.
3) Economy hasn't blown up - people continue to be employed, etc.. etc...

https://ir.tesla.com/news-releases/news-release-details/tesla-q4-2019-vehicle-production-deliveries

Tesla Q4 2019 vehicle production and deliveries report is out this morning. Tesla produced around 105,000 and delivered around 112,000 vehicles in Q4. That's more than street estimates. They delivered 19,450 Model S/X and 92,550 Model 3. Those are very good numbers, especially the Model S/X which are high margin. Way better numbers than I anticipated for Model S/X/3. Tesla stock is going to go much higher. Stock price this morning is artificially capped by the Iran and potential war news this morning but if there's any weakness, I'm buying more. I'm expecting Tesla stock to move higher this month in anticipation of blowout Q4 earnings. And Q4 earnings will be very good based on this production and delivery report. Super bullish.

I bought more Tesla shares and $500 Feb 21, 2020, call options. Not scared of the Iran and war chatters and I think Tesla has a chance to hit $500 before or shortly after Q4 earnings. Tesla Q4 earnings call should be around Jan 29 of this month. Tesla haven't announced the official date yet.

The writing's on the wall for my portfolio, as it probably should be. After years of being bloated with energy I have to start coming up with a diversification plan. I'd like to reduce my dependence on energy (ha ha) by at least 50% in the next 5 or so years.

I'm going to start researching REITs fairy seriously.

IIPR looks interesting. 5.27% div.

Because nothing involving HP ends well.

As someone that worked there during their stupid CEO changes and DUMB acquisitions I can tell you that place is a bloated dumpster fire.

This morning,
Credit Suisse keeps an Underperform rating on Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA), but lifts its price target to $340 from $200.

o_O:D
This is how dishonest these analysts are. Raising price target by whopping $140 yet keeping sell rating. Listening to these clueless fools will cost you big money.

Even Jim Cramer was pumping Tesla this morning on CNBC. He has been a long time critic but now owns the car and the stock.

Usually his endorsement is the kiss of death - at least short term anyway. ;)

Damn Smile Direct Club. I was tempted to buy at $9.50 and now the damn thing has run up to $11.30 on news of product placement in Walmart and expansion in Asia. Too expensive now.

I was afraid to buy since it has had "issues" after its IPO and fell sharply thereafter.

WTF???

How is oil down 5% other than maybe it had a 5% over-analyzed spike because everyone thought a war would break out and magically production would slow in Iran?

I don't think oil was "down" 5% - I think it adjusted back to what it was prior to the iran missle shooting overnight?
