I got my funds snapshot today. Just opened it.

I lost almost NINE PERCENT in February. What am I paying these dumbasses for? I can lose 9% on my own.

Don't feel too bad. February was a very rough month. Managing my own investments I only had a 0.6% gain for February. January was great with a 9.01% increase and March, even though it has had it's wild swings has been good so far with a 3.11% increase.

If you want on the MU train you'll probably have to bite the bullet and accept whatever volatility it may bring.

IMO there's no reason to not own EPD if you have money sitting in a saving account doing nothing. The chances of EPD or the world economy collapsing are about the same (close to zero), and it pays 6.5% on your cheese.

FIZZ finally started to FIZZ. Unfortunately I passed.

I'm fighting fighting fighting with myself over whether to sell off some long holdings and jump into MU.

It's just unfathomable to me that there won't be a profit taking event somewhere down the line. That would present a good entry point.

I can't pull the trigger on anything today. I'm just sitting here like a dumbass, drinking too many espressos.

I guess I'm traded out from Friday.

The only thing I know about TSLA is that their stock price floats on a solid foundation of unicorn farts. ...I think many would agree with me.

Prices that equate to an entire inventory of producing cars consistently for years on end to someone that can't even get their initial stuff out on time? Naaawwwww, totally reasonable to price Tesla at GM.

Kids these days are just like "I like Tesla, let's invest in them!"

Well, whatever. You guys may all think Telsa is going bankrupt or whatever, but as an owner of a 2015 Model S 90D I can promise you they are going to be the biggest US carmaker in 5 years.

I bet you all wish you had followed me along on that TSLA option trade. You would be making $960 per contract. I posted it friday, you had the opportunity.

I have traded many stocks in my day over the last 20+ years, but I have never traded TSLA. Keep the recommendations coming though, you never know who is reading this thread and just not responding to it.

Everyone's ideas and input are always appreciated.

Well, you'll be soundly disappointed in me... I limped in yesterday. $60.43 cost. But left some room to add if there's a pull back. This seems like a much longer term play than a week or two, so this higher cost basis may not be a to much of an issue if it reaches its targets in 2 or 3 years.

Nope! Not disappointed in you at all. You're playing the long game on this stock and there is nothing wrong with that. I may join you with MU as well. My problem is that EVERYTHING I want to buy is at it's all time highs, and I'm having a very difficult time buying into anything. I'll give you an example: I really wanted to add more of AMZN to my portfolio, but when I see my cost basis of my original shares being $47.07 that I bought in January of 2008, and it closed yesterday at $1,598.39, I look at this and say WTF, no way am I adding more shares. My problem right now is that I have too much cash and I'm having a difficult time with my investment strategy.

Like you said, with everything at all time highs, buying anything is extremely difficult. Any long term views can get really cloudy as prices continue to rise and that crystal ball starts to short circuit. I am actually probably 40/60 HRHR/LRLR (ex. cash) right now, so adding a little to the HR side actually gets me a little closer to the 50/50 I want. I just have a nagging feeling that the bottom is gonna plummet soon. Sadly, that feeling has been for over a year now.

On the plus side, that 40 is pretty damn concentrated and has performed damn well, so i am not feeling as much of a drag as I could be.
