I bought 10,000 shares of ONCS at around 1.82.

Maybe it's time to derive a sell point. How high can it go?

Looks like poor retail sales may have saved the day? Retail sales were down 0.3% instead of expected gain of 0.2%. Sales were also revised down for November and December. Conflicting signs for the economy today.

Dow 25,000 and S&P500 2,700 were previous floors that were crashed through on a good sized drop. Will they now become a ceiling on the way back up causing another drop.........

Wish I'd had the resources to get in on CELG when it was under $90 a few days ago.

That was too good to be true.

This has been a VERY strange trading day for me. I was up $10K+ early, then the bottom fell out and I was down $2K+, now I just looked again and I'm now up $14K+.

Yea, same here. Day started up way up, promptly sold off and now way back up again. I really hate the market sometimes.

I'm down for the day. Can't win them all.

I should have sold MU when it was close to hitting 44 but I got a little boisterous. I'm still in the black; my PPS is 41.87 and it's still sitting comfortably over 43.

It's going this week. Either today or tomorrow.

Well, I know it isn't the end of the trading day, but that was a really short crash.

As I said earlier, rising interest rates and stock market gains actually go hand in hand (see 1993 - 1999, 2002 - 2007). When you have an expected earnings growth of 18% for the S&P 500 in 2018, earnings will be gaining faster than interest rates will rise. This bodes well for stocks, but yeah volatility will certainly be higher too.

I sold MU at 43.70. $1.83 profit per share plus options. Very healthy.

I'm taking the rest of the day off. Good luck, gentlemen.

Snapchat slid 4.7 percent after Citigroup slapped a "sell" rating on the stock, arguing negative reviews on an app redesign might point to a decline in users.

lol

(Reuters) - U.S. grocery chain operator Albertsons Companies Inc said on Tuesday it would buy drugstore chain Rite Aid Corp in a cash-and-stock deal to create a company with $83 billion in revenue.

Rite Aid shares rose as much as 31 percent in premarket trading and were set to open at more than a five-month high of $2.80.

Rite Aid shareholders will have the right to receive either one share of Albertsons common stock plus about $1.83 in cash or 1.079 shares of Albertsons stock in exchange for every 10 Rite Aid shares.

Depending on the outcome of the tender offer, Rite Aid is expected to own a 28 percent to 29.6 percent stake in the combined company, while Albertsons' shareholders will own a 70.4 percent to 72.0 percent stake, the companies said in a statement.

Finally. Speculation on a Rite-Aid buyout has been going on since 2000.

Sheesh!

I'm probably going shopping today or tomorrow. I'm not touching anything for an hour or two to let things shake out.

I'm looking for a nice, juicy, high quality put lead in to a covered call.
