For Draft Kings, I did a Monday/Thursday line up. I only had B Marshall and one scrub (Flex spot) that gave me 6 on Monday. So I can move things around with the slots. So, for Thursday who are the shoe ins for QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, a TE and defense?

Right now I have:
QB: Manning (NYG)
RB: R. Jennings (NYG)
RB: A. Morris (Was)
WR: O Beckam Jr
WR: D. Jackson
TE: L. Donnel
Def: Giants

Did you cash? Your lineup was similar to mine and somehow I did even after the duds from Hyde and AA. Must have been a lot of other guys heavily invested in Colts players to make that happen.

Not even close. 72/100 and about 10pts from 50.

Desean Jackson is out with a hammy for the next 2-3 weeks. Missed the STL game as well. Garcon is your best bet for WAS receivers, and that's not saying much

Ya, I caught the D Jackson mistake.

Right now I have:
QB: Manning (NYG)
RB: R. Jennings (NYG)
RB: A. Morris (Was) M. Jones (might change back to Morris)
WR: O Beckam Jr
WR: D. Jackson P. Garcon
TE: L. Donnel J. Reed
Def: Giants

I am not exactly sure how the scoring system works for Draft Kings, but Shane Vereen may be a better option then Jennings. Was at the game on Sunday and he just looked more dynamic, especially in the short game. Coughlin was gushing about him after the game too.

Would you guys drop Michael Floyd for Donte Montcrief? I feel like Floyd has more upside but Montcrief has been a target hog the first 2 weeks. Seems like he would be at most risk of losing targets over time as Andre Johnson may eventually catch on and Hilton will be at 100% eventually.

i'd was kinda in the same boat in a couple of my leagues. austin saferian-jenkins got dropped for jordan reed. yeah, he may be injury prone, but it's a risk i'm willing to take right now. i don't see donnell doing very much, unfortunately. he was a stud late last season or the year before, i can't remember. i also do think he'll do a lot against the skins' stout defense.

Denver and Denver kicker. Dropping Carolina and parkey.

In hindsight maybe I should of kept Carolina one more week.. with brees possibly being out.

Anyone else up for playing a Week 3 weekly fantasy league on FanDuel / DraftKings please check in. I think Eits and Away are willing to commit, we realistically need at least 5 more to play. Probably need to have it locked up by 4:00PM EST if we want to include the TNF game, by Saturday 4PM EST if just the Sunday/Monday games. I suggest a $5 buy-in, please indicate whether you prefer DK or FD when you commit and majority will rule.

Crockett Gillmore my friends. Picked him this week in case Delanie can't go.

What do you think of this trade, who would you go with?

Melvin Gordon and Carson Palmer (I have)

for

Latavius Murray and Matt Stafford

Looking for opinions. I'm leaning towards the trade right now.

Thanks

I think you're giving up more.. but I can't fault you if you don't feel good about Gordon.

Also, would be interested in FanDuel for the weekend games. It'd be too quick of a turn around to include tonight's game I think.

Just traded away AJ Green and Jonathan Stewart for Arian Foster. It seems like such a high price, but I think my bench can sustain. 12 man snake draft. Made some nice picks off the FA and WW.

I'd be interested in Fan Duel, but not for a month or so. Way too busy already.

Gordon was chunking last week, 2 or more runs of 20+ yards. Some reputable sites are saying to sell high on Woodhead non-ppr and I agree. The main issue with Melvin is when will he get red zone carries? So far it's:
RB Touches: Melvin Gordon (17, 17) and Danny Woodhead (16, 13)
Redzone Carries: Danny Woodhead (6, 1) Melvin Gordon (0, 0)
Gordon has the talent to take more away from Woodhead, but Woodhead is so dam good in passing downs that Gordon realistically only has 1st/2nd down value and no current red zone value. That could change in the future though. Being on a good to very good team, Gordon also has the 18% boost in carries that winning teams' RBs will experience when they burn clock so that is very good.

Latavius is a top 5 graded PFF back right now, and a rare every down back to boot. He is an asset for sure.

Run blocking, Oakland (15th worst) is better than SD (9th worst) so advantage Latavius.

Stafford sucks and Palmer is very good this year so I hope Stafford wouldn't be your starting quarterback. Palmer is getting significantly better pass pro from his team right now. Stafford is the worst graded QB right now and Palmer is the 4th best. Yikes.

It depends on your record and needs. Latavius is a fantastic every down asset who can score TDs. Gordon will probably blossom later in the season and his coach claims he'll get red zone carries but we haven't seen it happen yet. Stafford is actually a QB I would drop in all leagues, he's playing that bad. So Latavius for Gordon and Palmer = you're giving up too much. Tell him to sub out Stafford with another player.

Not a fan of this deal, AJ Green is playing behind the 3rd best pass blocking line and he's Dalton's fav target... yikes. Advanced accuracy % is showing Dalton as 4th best in the league as well. To your credit, Green is registering as league average on receiving but he's an elite WR, he's going to rise sooner than later. In your defense, Cobb/Fitz/Moncrief are hitting right now (but we don't know if Moncrief will continue to hit when T.Y. is back).

Arian when healthy is obviously better than JStew, but in the meantime you are left with Doug Martin running behind the worst run blocking line in the league. I'd actually rather have Matt Jones in there because he can churn out yards on his own better than Martin, both lines suck. Overall, you aren't hurting yourself THAT much because JStew gets vultured by Cam/Tolbert in the red zone and he's capped at a ceiling around 8 points a game without TDs, plus he's frail (hurt knee this week, surprise). He's also pulling a -1.8 in rushing this year.

In the end, I think it was a risky, ballsy deal because I'd rather have stronger WR than RB depth due to risk exposure and the fact it may take Foster a few weeks (if ever) to regain form. He's not rushing behind a world class Oline anymore, in fact they rank in the bottom third right with Carolina. Yeah they were top 6 last year, but they aren't looking like a top 10 run blocking team after two games. Small sample size I know.

If Carson Palmer stays healthy all year, he should do well. Stafford is beat up. I would not do this deal.
