Da Fins choked again, back to .500. New season, same ole Fins. <sad panda>

My friends in Louisiana are not happy with the Saints. With all the changes and updates during the offseason, it is still the same as last season.

Must have cost a tidy bit to rent that billboard, probably cheaper were the air-pumps in the pro-shop, did the Bills fans not think Brady would not notice this?, did they not think when they all screamed in unison "WE WANT BRADY!" he would not hear about it?. At his locker before the trip to Buffalo he replied, 'we'll be there, it's gonna be a great football day". Lesson to be learned here, taunting TB12 is a bad idea, a VERY bad idea, 466yds and 3 TD's worth of bad.

0-2. meh.

it's a long season. Still winning the division in the end.

I'd tend to agree with you and I haven't seen any of the Cards games, but looking at the stats...

NO and CHI aren't the best of teams, but that's almost 40 points/game, which at a minimum means their O is firing on all cylinders. Also tops at +37 net points so it's not like their defense is swiss cheese.

Am I missing something big here, or did Arizona fix their gaps?

Hard to say, how do you get a TE with the pedigree of Graham and not get him involved more in the offense?, why can't they compete with a GB team minus their best receiver and best RB?, Then Wilson throws another critical pick that was almost reminiscent of the SB pick. I'm not trying to diss Seattle fans but Wilson is overrated IMO and Kam was the glue that held that D together, if he sits for the season I see Seattle as an 8-8 team.

Last week, I thought I had a pretty good idea of how the different teams would perform.

This week it's clear...I have no clue. 😱 I mean, Oakland beat Baltimore? Dallas beat the Eagles? Browns beat anybody? Jacksonville too?

No, they had no legitimate QB heading into the playoff's last year, now they do and the defense is still in place.

Arizona has been really good for the past couple seasons, but their quarterbacks are held together with papier mâché and chewing gum. Last year they started off crazy good (9-1 apparently), lost their starting QB, lost their backup QB, and had a third stringer limp into an opening round playoff loss. If they can stay healthy, they're a legitimate threat to the Seahawks. But that's a HUGE if.

Suggs was the heartbeat of that D, he's gone for the season.

Dallas beating the Eagles should not tip anyone's "I don't know wtf I'm saying scale" (I also had this game as a loss the Cowboys). ANY NFC East team beating any other NFC East team is just fucking par for the course nor matter how skilled either team is. This division eats itself all the time.

Those other ones, I'm right there with you man.

That's roughly where I thought they were, knew about the issues with QB, it's just looking at the number and they seem monstrous.

lol. Wilson is overrated? working in a new TE with a team with no TE schemes and with a new OC and 2 straight new DC's?

aren't you a Pats fan? The height of all suspended reality when it comes to sports fans? rofls. Did you honestly suggest that they didn't compete with GB tonight? did you watch this game?

funny

This was always going to be a great game tonight, and it's about time GB actually won one of them. 😉

as for the NFCW:
And the Cards are a great team, and have been for 3 years now. NFC West is still a great conference (tip: I really don't care about that division, personally), it is only that SF will not be part of the discussion this year.

The Rams are solid, too....just protect Foles and keep him thinking straight and they will be fine, too.

Carr looked fairly decent, and better, most of last season, but no one noticed.

If Oakland isn't at the very least competitive, they sure will piss in some cereal this year (hello SD and Denver)

Yea, I'm a Pats fan, I didn't know Bevell was gone, it just seems Wilson goes in fits and starts and is not steady the way a top-tiered QB should be. Lets be honest though, GB just needed to recover an onsides kick last year and they go to the SB and their coach had zero guts running the ball 3X and punting it right back to Seattle, you've got Aaron Rodgers back there, let him win it for you with 1-2 1st downs, heck I'm a Brady homer and Rodgers has a better and more accurate arm.

Arizona is fine until Palmer inevitably goes down and costs them the division and possibly a playoff spot.
