He was out of the game because he's serving a 1-game suspension for marijuana.

I'm pretty sure that's why they kept Meh Cassel on the roster. Veteran backup in case Plan A goes to crap.

Well pot help achy knees... :D

So Seattle was in OT vs the Rams and were behind by 3 points and needing 1yrd on 4th down so they......handed off to Beast Mode!....and he was stuffed for a 2yrd loss. One has to wonder if people in Seattle will now re-consider the SB play-calling at the end of the game.

Of course not. Despite, it actually being a decent play call (everyone expects run and they do a quick slant that happened to be run poorly and scouted), it failed in the most spectacular way. People won't forget that.

nope, was a crappy executed play. almost looked like a delayed draw how long it took the exchange to take place. and if you lined up the only 10 possible plays in the SB, the one they used would be listed as 10th most desirable.

I'm going to disagree with you on:

Chiefs @ Texans - Houston's pretty good.
Browns @ Jets - Two bad teams, I think Jets can win this one.
Lions @ Chargers
Titans @ Bucs - Yes, I think the only one you called for the home team is wrong.
Ravens @ Broncos - Peyton Manning will get it together. He has to, dammit! ;)

Eagles @ Falcons
Vikings @ Niners
Hoyer's not really good, but that defense is IMO.

Chargers/Lions should be excellent. I'm a Lions fan but Rivers is better than Stafford right now, and I love the Chargers as well.

Always liked them.

Ravens, dude...sorry..:D

Well, 4 out of 5 ain't bad. :D (Excluding the Monday night games, of course.) I can't believe the Chiefs won, though! Now I'm scared about Thursday night.

This is painful to watch. Cowboys giving the game away, as usual. And this RB by committee garbage ain't working.

Let's hope Romo can get a chance to drive. But, with Dez out (I think he is still out), we are going to need a miracle.

Miracle given.

Such an intense 4th quarter. Didn't think the 'Boys would pull it off as time dwindled down. Too many fluke turn overs to call the game a real success, but a win is a win I guess.

They are not running the ball nearly as well as they should be, and Dez getting injured isn't going to help. Other than that, some of the fluke turn overs into TDs kind of inflated the score for the Giants. Don't get my wrong, Dallas got burned on some plays and gave up some yards, but two TDs were directly from ridiculous turnovers, especially the 3rd. That isn't going to happen every game.

Excellent finish. I'm a member of the human race, so I'm always hoping Dallas loses, but I can't fault anyone who pulls off a miracle drive like that.

still have to question that 3rd down call to pass the ball instead of running it before the last Giants FG....running it would have taken 40 seconds off the clock so Dallas would have had about 45 seconds left after the field goal instead of 1:34...

Any bets what week Lovie Smith gets canned? His teams look so woefully unprepared.

Whelp, i turned off the TV on that stupid personal foul penalty on the Cowboys. Oops.

Looks like Eli fucked up a lot by not wasting time on the clock and giving the Cowboys tons of time to come back. That was really bad execution.

Edit: Like literally, i could have been in at QB and i would have known not to snap it with 20 second left on the play clock, i'm a better qb than eli! :D

I think there is a such thing as invisible men...I mean, Calvin Johnson. Boy the Chargers looked good from the second quarter on out, and the Lions looked putrid...I mean PUTRID.

LOL Eli -- lack of awareness last night, and definitely cost the Giants a game they had in hand.
