Sucks. I can't stand Riberi and I dislike Benzema, but I have to say the team looks quite good.

Fantastic second goal! I'm sure France is backing off a bit, but still a great second from the Swiss. Helping their differential a bit at least. 😀

LOL at the ending! Benzema scored the 6th a second after the ref stopped the game.... That was ridiculous, it was an incredible goal by Benzema, heck the counter even changed to 2-6 for a bit
 
Yeah, what a stupid ending. Considering how important goal differential can be, you can't blow the whistle at a time like that. Ridiculous.

USA, because the team is better than the impression it made and because of the Klinsmann factor. What I saw consistently throughout the tournament is teams unable to finish games mentally with most offenders getting away unpunished. Klinsmann was a career long member of a team that capitalized on that advantage countless times.


Just as much as ability is important so is the confidence needed to play the best you can. So far, many teams that were threatened early went into turtle mode, at least til half time and coach talks them out of it.

Who would have thought that in a group of three world champions, the minnows Costa Rica would not only qualify but top the group!

This amongst other reasons this has been a great world cup so far
 
Iran copying Inter's play while Mourinho was their coach, worked for them so far

It's my birthday today and I want Bosnia to win! Is that to much to ask?
 
Argentina is playing like crap, Iran had the best opportunities in 2nd half so far and actually a stolen penalty, as usual from this world cup
People trash talk Cristiano Ronaldo all the time but Messi isnt any better in Argentina, you can barely tell he is playing
