I do believe that there is a lot more fixing in ALL professional sports than what will ever come to light. Also college sports

That is because you have never played professional sports, do not understand sports, or have never watched sports in your life. Let's take the World Cup. Was the US - Portugal game fixed? Because, if it was, that is some absolutely perfect acting. Ronaldo setting up the last minute goal with a perfectly placed cross to tie the game...

You can't fix team sports. You'd have to get the majority of the team to go along with it, as well as the coaches and the officials, AND then hope they have some Oscar winning performances, otherwise the fans riot.

Wrestling, which is actually fixed and it's really an athletic competition still doesn't always go as planned.

Hmm.. Looks like you don't understand or know much about fixing. The fixing of the result is not the most significant type of fixing. There are a gazillion other things on which bets are made and where big underground money is involved.

Can't see the link, but I am going to go out on a limb and say it doesn't include Thierry Henry, and therefore, cannot be the greatest game in history.

Most fixing involves the referees as in giving a set amount of yellow or red cards throughout a game.

Getting players to actually fix games is infinitely harder, its not a sure thing in getting the right set of plays they want to act out. Most of the time though its a goalie or defender playing badly to let in goals.

Or, you could just buy an entire fake team of scrubs and put them out on the field...which has happened. 😀

Match Fixing is pretty uncommon in the top tiers of Soccer. A lot of the match fixing stuff occurs in the lower leagues. Its cheaper to buy off players, refs, teams, ect and isnt as high profile so easier ot get away with (generally)

Not that it doesnt happen in top tiers but it isnt as common
